Chicago Fire people .... at the end of Tuesday's episode, Gaby and Antonio talking at the bar and he asks how Chilly is because of what happened to her or something like that? What did he say? I couldn't hear a word he said. I wish they would cut down on the freaking background noise because that happens a lot. We know they are in a bar, we now bars are noisy, but its a freaking TV show and I want to hear what the actors are saying please!![]()
He told her that Chilly's sister had just died. (According to Antonio, they found her body in a flop house, whatever that is). And that's all very sad (and I just lost my grandmother, so I certainly can relate to a sense of loss), but I hope they don't expect me to excuse Chilly's behavior. If she's at work, I, as a colleague have the right to expect her to have my back and as someone who needs a paramedics help, I have the right to expect her to be able to do her job properly and not almost kill people and then lie to cover it up. Just saying. It annoyed me a little that they seemed to throw that out there to excuse her behavior. I'm sure she has bereavement leave she can take.
ETA: That was quick. They already decided to green-light the development of Chicago Law http://deadline.com/2016/01/chicago-law-spinoff-coming-together-nbc-dick-wolf-1201687512/

and running after him. Just like 20 years ago! Then Scully and Mulder in Skinner's office with the stranger who is trying to shut them down. Skinner sides with the stranger until he leaves, and then he tells Scully and Mulder that they have a few days to investigate. Just like 20 years ago! Secret hospitals with secret patients undergoing secret experiments. Just like 20 years ago! And we loved it!
