I can't even watch now his SP at Worlds, because it's just depresses me when I will think about how it ended :wall:

Well.....I know you are asking this question to kind of suggest me to take a good rest, but ...rather than thinking about food, I want to skate.
I could not do well in two competions in a row (Nationals and WC), and that is a test the God has given me.

Do you want to Skate?

My character will not change for the rest of my life, even if I try I cannot change it. There is nothing I can do about it. So I will cherish what I have and will try to face it. I will tackle with skating(I don't know good translation on this last sentence).

Nah, I think it was just a splendid case of american yod-dropping - tendency to drop 'y'-sound after certain consonants. americans pronounce 'news' as 'noose', after all. They just can't get around HanYu element.
Or they can't be bothered to. :D

Ayako Nakamura from Facebook group has just translated his interview:
"I am going to believe in my potential and would like to do more difficult elements."
"I would like to be able to communicate and express a wider variety of things." (He is referring to his artistry here, not his English.)
"I'm looking forward to next season (already)."

I feel too tempted to read too much into it. I hate others doing that, so I'd better restrain myself.
But it's really fascinating to see a young man his age be so self-aware.
 
That kind of sensitivity makes him a great artist but it also makes him more vulnerable.

I was really depressed after Hanyu's free skate. I couldn't truly enjoy the rest of the mens competition after that. I did watch the video of his LP after I got home. For any other skater it would have been an OK skate, but Yuzuru had raised my expectations so much, after the season he had!

I wish him good health, good rest during the off season, and I hope to see him at his best in 2018, at the top of the Olympic podium.

Same here - funny to be so depressed, but there you are, I was gutted for him. Though I was really concerned about the pressure he was under.

He was fantastic in the SP. It was pure perfection. Every jump, every transition, was perfect and he interpreted Chopin so well! He fully deserved the high marks he got in the SP. I felt so lucky to have watched him skate like that!

Who would have thought his 12 points lead would not hold up in the end?

Well compared to last WC in Shanghai, he has made some improvements. He never had a clean SP at WC before lolll. Next season he will have clean Lp maybe.

He is very sensitive. At some point maybe he just couldn't cope up with all the buzz from media. I guess staying away from the media is a good choice. So he should stay at CC in Canada as much as possible. Junko Yamashaki from YH Facebook said this:

"In Aera magazine which was issued after GPF last year, he said he sometimes feel really hopeless and sad, because of all the attention he gets. He thinks why do I have to care and worry about how I would been seen in public eye because all he is doing is chasing his dream. I would feel suffocated if I were him."

Alia Jacson has just counted from her survey. Yuzuru's fans come from 75 countries. She only counted people who took the survey and I am sure there are many fans who haven't taken it.

Japan Skating Federation (JSF) officer Ms Kobayashi met press after chairman conference today and claimed Yuzu is treating his injuries in Toronto now. He has not confirmed to participate the ice shows this off-season yet. Kobayashi-san also mentioned the competitive athletes could not avoid to "negotiate" with injuries. She hoped Yuzuru not to any hurry to get recovered.
