We are heading to hospital in Boston!

Got the call this morning, a bed is available in the hospital in Boston for Tuesday. My husband is being discharged from the hospital in Manhattan at 7:00 in the morning on Tuesday and we need to be at the admissions office in Boston by noon. I am really nervous about making the trip for many reasons.

Is there a friend or family member who might go with you? Or would it be easier to take a bus? I used to take buses from NYC to Boston quite frequently. It's a lot less work than driving.

Good luck! I'm sure you're on top of this already, but sometimes discharges can get delayed by a few hours for paperwork or medication reasons -- just let the New York medical team know beforehand that you need to be in Boston by noon, and that you have to leave exactly at 7.
