Valerie Harper has died

The first thing that comes to mind is watching Rhoda's wedding with my mom. My dad always bowled on Monday nights, and I sat in "his" recliner. :)

My dad had one of those recliners too, in the choice spot in front of the TV. Mom sat to the side on the coach.
Mine too. When I stayed with them for 3 weeks with my broken leg, I got to sit in the recliner whenever I wanted to - with the foot rest up. :) My dad would actually get up to let me sit there! And he sat in the chair across from me. There was also a chair with a footstool (I still say footstool. Today they are called ottomans - upholstered like the chair they go with, not a "'stool") next to the t.v. that was good for me too. Sadie wasn't allowed on the furniture, but she would stand and stare at the footstool until my mom put a towel on it for her....... Rambling!
