Lol—and you had it correct. Et, not andGracie's music was Daphnis et Chloe
It's extremely likely. It's not inconceivable that enough of the woman in Spokane beat that score, but it would be very, very surprising.108.27 in the FS, 175.76 overall - that should qualify her for Nats, right?
Yeah, looks like Gracie's score overtakes Jill Heiner for the E2 spot and pushes Jill into an at-large. We'll see if Hanna Harrell can better her own score in Spokane.Gracie Gold improved her previous score (163.62) by about 10 points, 175.76, so she should be fine for Nationals.
Previously, she was 3rd of the 3 'at large' qualifiers. I think she will qualify but we won't know for sure until Spokane is finished sometime tomorrow.
This post has a partially updated copy showing the qualifiers current-ish rankings.
USFS' Championship Series: 2022 US Nationals qualifying competitions, Oct. 5-Nov. 20, 2021
Skating orders for the Spokane, WA event posted: https://ijs.usfigureskating.org/leaderboard/results/2021/30110/index.asp Lots of familiar names in Senior Women. Happy to see Kate Wang moving up to seniors!www.fsuniverse.net
She was much better at the Henderson qualifier last month. Shame she didn't skate as well today.Whoever chose this “music” for her isn’t doing her any favors.
She should be. She improved her previous score by a pretty substantial margin and should qualify for Nats. Right now, she'd probably finish somewhere between 6-10 at Nats with that score.Gracie hangs on for the win. I hope she's happy with that even with the mistakes.
While I agree she’s not anywhere close to Olympic qualifying level, they are sending Hannah Harrell with a lower overall score to Golden Spin so I wouldn’t count Gracie out of an International quite yet.And this is why the USFS hasn't sent Gracie out for another chance at the TES minimums. No need to worry about finding a way to get her entered in Golden Spin or whether or not Open Belarus Cup is happening.
The difference is that Hanna is a lot younger and she isn't being sent out to get her TES mins for 4CCs/Olympics. She has those, as well as her Worlds FS min - she just needs her Worlds SP min. While I agree she’s not anywhere close to Olympic qualifying level, they are sending Hannah Harrell with a lower overall score to Golden Spin so I wouldn’t count Gracie out of an International quite yet.
She actually won by almost 20 points above #2. Yeah, 175 total points won’t win a senior international but it was more than enough for a win here.Gracie hangs on for the win. I hope she's happy with that even with the mistakes.
What is he doing now?Maxwell Gart sighting! Taking a photo with N/S

ETA: Looks like Dmitriev decided to stay in Russia & not make a 2nd trip. Torgashev has WD will not be at Nationals.
I really enjoy watching Julia move across the ice... and she does a back Charlotte entry into her layback spin. Viktor Pfeifer (who coached Julia when they were both in Wilmington, DE) is with her in the kiss & cry in Spokane.Julia Biechler - nice to see her back competing & yay that she brought back her lovely "Hometown Glory" program.
