There may be lots of reasons. Envy, any perceived lack of respect (I am saying perceived because sometimes people who get offended are offended because they wanted to be offended rather than because someone gave them actual reason), it can be something as small as Denis not giving someone right of way while driving, or someone decided that Denis looked at them ‘the wrong way’... None of those reasons you or me may consider significant, but then again neither you nor me go around murdering people. Some people are just scum and would murder an old person for a bag with five pounds. Denis very likely had much more than that...

Wasn't Denis something like 120 pounds???? Slight build, unarmed, outnumbered. That defense atty has his work cut out for him.

There was an earlier discussion in this topic why some one may want another person dead. Some nutty person may not like "how one looks at his wife"...

Oxana Ten's theory, which she voiced openly, is "i believe there are people out there who were jealous of Denis' success". She arranged for a lot of detective work, kept watch on murderer's families, researched, searched, contacted people, etc.

She found out that murderer's family suddenly came into noticeable amount of money, bought a new car, and other costly (by local standards) objects . The new car was seen in the drive way. The neighbors informed that the family suddenly has money. Then the info about the murderer receiving $ 5000 USD and support while in jail from a man who has connections to the owner of the restaurant. Then all the issues with destroyed sim-cards and telephone records erased, etc. There are more details about "the pregnant girlfriend's role", the 2 police officers who were sitting in the car half a block from Denis' automobile during mirror theft, and supposedly were able to see the whole incident from their angle, yet did nothing..etc.

Mrs. Ten thinks there is more to the situation, given the "parallel activities" involving money and support to murderers, etc.

In this video @ 2:10, Mother names Denis' friend (Ruslan Kharyilaev) as the one (of several) who knew in advance the location of their lunch. The two boys were friends since school, but not in contact for the next 10 years. Recently they renewed contact, and lunch was one of their get togethers. On the video (at 2:10) the friend speaks, and there is a short film of him and Denis at the restaurant. He was questioned, and said he knows nothing of the situation, and was himself informed of the issue.

Sure it's nice to see the Kazakh flag flying. It would surely make Denis happy. But it's truly Tursy's own effort. She needs to improve in some areas though. I think she was overscored on PCS, but the judges do love the rotations. And lucky for Tursy to go back to Eteri and find her mojo. The scrambling around in the fp among the ladies was also helpful for Tursy's overall placement. She was third in sp, 4th in fp but 2nd overall because of poor showings by Sakamoto, et al.

Anyway, it's good to see the D-10 exhibit at Worlds, and all the tributes. Denis is unforgettable and irreplaceable.

to say the truth... it seems to me he still thinks about playing with his voice, not about creating a harmonious (balanced) song, maybe he still learns to cope with such a voice (sorry, that I say such a thing)

I actually caught Dimash's appearance on CBS' The Worlds Best reality talent competition show a few months ago and thought of Denis. Dimash made it to the Champions Rounds (top 12) but withdrew from the Solo Music category.

The warmth that Denis gave people is now returning. The fact that he is remembered is heart-warming. Oh, sorry! I don't know how can it be. Of course, I had seen Denis skating to "SOS d'un terrien en detresse" (and remembered that), but somehow I didn't remember the voice. Yesterday it seemed to me I heard this voice for the first time. Sorry.

The following is not directly linked to Denis Ten, but it may affect indirectly his mother's (Oxana Ten) attempt to further the investigation on her claim that Denis' murder was a conspiracy.

Another Kazakhstanian Olympic Champion's (Dmitry Balandin) automobile was burgled (for mirrors) not far from where Ten's car was. The thief was caught, and now the police is also tracing high-activity for car buglers in the area.

Actually, they ask whether Yagudin is going to skate there. He says he wasn't invited. He says he was invited to Ten's show in November, but "nothing definite was said" to him.
