Hmm, I saw marketing of this year’s SOI as “all new,” but it sounds like Bradie is skating to the LP and EX she’s been using all year. The rest of the numbers look new, though (I think?).

Were there two 'Medley by Queen' programs... one from Davis/White and by Hubbell/Donohue?
Based on IG story clips I've seen, Meryl/Charlie's medley includes "It's A Kind Of Magic" and Hubbell/Donohue's "Another One Bites the Dust."
The rest of the numbers look new, though (I think?).
Pretty much. Vincent debuted his Joji EX at Worlds and Mirai skated to "Halo" in an outdoor holiday show in Providence, RI this past December.

Charlie appears to be choreographing the first number as we sit here (2nd performance of the tour) Nassau Colliseum must have had a security issue as they are making the parents sit above row 15 for practice in the empty arena which is pretty silly. We did CT last year and sat at ice level.

Thanks for posted fan videos from Long Island. I was there and took some videos of my own and can be viewed here: https://www.youtube.com/user/christos61978/videos

Great show last night, lots of variety in numbers and good crowd support and cheers. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves as well which pleased me. There were flyers posted for advance purchases of tickets for next seasons show but no date information. Good to know that they at least plan to have another show there next year.

So I am at SOI NY warm up practice as my DD is in the group number again this year. Anyone know who is choreographing? Sorry Jason isn’t at this one. He’s always our favorite.
Jeff Buttle was supposed to be choreographing the show but he is not skating in it due to an injury.

So I'm trying to get tickets for the Anaheim show and apparently it's sold out? No way?!

Maybe you looked into the meet & greet ticket? I just checked the ticketing site. Section 208 is sold out. But there are still many tickets available in the other sections.

I wonder if next year they will be asking the skaters to submit their music choices in advance to ensure there aren't two programs to the same music?

Although nothing could be worse than that year when there were THREE 'I Put a Spell on You' programs in a row at the Russian Nationals gala. I think the skaters were laughing as their music came on as it just turned funny.

No, Ticketmaster's site said there were no seats! So weird.
I just went to look and as seabm7 said, there is one section sold out but there are tons of seats available. FWIW, I went directly to the Ticketmaster website and searched for Honda Center, then clicked on the event.

I hope you get to go!

I went to the Albany show last night. Overall, it was a great show and I really enjoyed it. Nathan definitely had my favorite performances of the night. I didn’t get to see him compete this season so I loved getting to see his SP live. I thought both of Mirai’s programs were really beautiful and well skated. And I loved that the Shibs included twizzles in both programs. Both Ashley’s programs and 90s group program are a lot of fun.

Looking around, it seemed attendance was pretty weak. I could see a lot of empty seats. I wish we could see some international skaters included in the cast and I think a pair team could add some excitement to the show.

I was also there, and it definitely got me thinking about how different it must be to project to an audience with lots of empty seats vs a packed arena. The skaters performed like they had a full audience. Ashley in particular injected a lot of energy and pizazz into her performances. I loved seeing Mirai's spiral, and the crowd was roaring for Nathan. I went with someone who doesn't watch skating, and they were really impressed with everyone and said that they would love to go to something like this again.

A lot of group types of numbers can be cheesy, so I wasn't sure how I would feel about the 90s number. But it was great! The skaters were all having so much fun with it and even the ones who were more introverted in their individual pieces lit up. Maybe the secret is just to go full on camp with these things  If anything, it was a little cringey watching the Video Killed the Radio Star video on the ice at the start of the show. I had seen it online and thought it was hilarious and fun, but I didn't realize that it would be part of the show...when it started, I was thinking "Oh, we're actually doing this, watching the whole video." :scream:

I hadn't been to one of these types of shows since it was Champions on Ice, when ice skating was in a different era for the US. I remember the audiences being full and enthusiastic. It's hard to say what the answer is in terms of selling more tickets. I'm not even sure having international skaters would do it, though it wouldn't hurt.

Stars on Ice is to me a very stale brand... the European shows from Art on Ice to Kings on Ice to Holiday on Ice to some shows done Kostner in Italy and Javi in Spain to Averbukhs Shows to Plushenko's iceplays all look more interesting. I think both Averbukh and Plushenko both wanted to come to America but there are Visa issues that preclude that.
