@TanithandBenFan, you can see quite a lot of Charlie (and Nathan) in this Backstreet Boys' "I want it that way" clip of the '90s group number last night :D: https://www.instagram.com/p/BxWQTEBlT95/

Short clip of Ashley connecting with the audience in "Groove...": https://www.instagram.com/p/BxWP6phFGQZ/

Alysa backstage after her first SOI show sharing her excitement and posing with Adam (4 re-posted IG stories by a fan): https://www.instagram.com/p/BxW-JPwncFr/
ETA that Alysa performed her "Don't Rain on my Parade" SP exhibition (photo & clip now added at the link above); don't know if she skated a second solo?

Jeremy Abbott's "Pure Imagination" by Jamie Cullum (choreo. by Benoit Richaud), filmed from an on ice seat in Anaheim: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a6dRsV9r-Z0

ETA - Sean Rabbitt thanked Mirai for their Anaheim tickets (with Marin and Taichi Honda, Kazuki Tomono): https://www.instagram.com/p/BxWgxjTh-k8/

Went to SOI Anaheim last night - had a great time. Disappointed that Vincent hasn't healed up yet... too bad. Everyone was great. Nathan is so wonderful to watch - he did a quad in Next to Me and an improv pushup when he slid and fell on his spin entrance in Caravan - haha.. this was so cute. He has become a top notch performer. Meryl and Charlie were their fabulous self (I LOVED the Lilac Wine number). Ashley just performs 100% and I appreciate that as an audience member. Groove is in the Heart was one of my favorites - so much fun. Mirai's Youth number was very different for her I felt- nuanced, while Halo had lovely spirals and elegance. I liked both very much and feel like Mirai has also grown so much as a performer! Bradie unfortunately fell on her lutz in her R&J program but I appreciated seeing a partial freeskate - ambitious and her spins are really super. The Shibs were smooth with Coldplay and fun with Daft Punk. They got lots of love from the crowd. Hubbell and Donohue are always powerful and they had fun in the their Queen medley for sure. Always a pleasure to Jeremy... he doubled a couple jumps but the audience loved his backflips! Of course the 90's number is the talk of SOI this year... definitely felt old school SOI. Madi did the worm last night instead of Meryl! Alyssa just did the one number - her short program. She is a ray of sunshine - smiling throughout the whole program like she's having the time of her life! I believe she did a double axel plus a triple flip and triple lutz triple toe combo. Anyway, another fun night at SOI (my 25th in a row!) :)

San Jose show was terrific! I LOVED the group numbers. For me the 90s jam turned the program into a genuine show rather than a series of individual numbers followed by everyone skating in circles for 5 minutes. More of that next year, please.

There was a big crowd, less than last year but not by that much and very happy to watch all of the skaters.

DW and Nathan were my favorites. Meryl and Charlie skate with complete ease and assurance - as good as everyone is, those two are way above in making it all look effortless and right. It's funny that their signature competitive style was big sweeping drama, but now in shows they shine with intimate, emotional moments. The Queen medley is fun but forgettable, while Lilac Wine is fragile, vulnerable, quietly beautiful and I couldn't stop replaying it my head on the dark drive home.

Nathan seems to have more joints than he should. How does he create that many angles with his arms and legs? He's fascinating to watch.

Shibs get extra :cheer2: for throwing in some honest to god twizzles.

Oh, Meryl and Madi did the worm together! It was a real 'the student has become the master' moment! :40beers:

I'm so glad you did! I was thinking today that I wish someone would take a fan cam of Charlie in all the numbers because he was the highlight of the show for me. :D
