Look, a crap theme deserves a crap programme designed to mock the theme and score points simultaneously. Genius.

LaLa see the writing on the wall. They are having fun this OGs and saving their energy for next season or the next quad, if they decide to remain competitive. I don't think they take themselves as seriously as the fans do. They are simply having the time of their lives. If the mindset changes, so will the programs. They are brilliant kids.

I loved their RD. It went by in a flash.

And the FD is beautiful. And I doubt any of the judges will remember it from what, is it 2 or 3 seasons ago? - especially since they never got to worlds with it. And ofc most of the Oly audience will not ever have even heard of it.

I know that IAM have many teams, but are they aware that L/L are in their 7th Senior season and were 5th at Worlds? Why are they getting this kind of packaging?

At least the FD will be good. Even if it is a repeated programme.

Their SEVENTH senior season? This just makes me depressed. The logjam in ice dance is ridiculous but L/L are certainly not helping their case by agreeing to this program. It’s so junior

I liked their black cat/golden retriever dynamic from the start but I agree their material has just been so blah for the past couple of years. I really like CPom but there’s really no reason that they should be beating Lala if all things were equal

They showed signs as juniors, but when they did Perfume and that Janis Joplin RD, brilliant!! Talk about having a signature program that is rewatchable, and they haven't even won a world medal yet. Sigh.

???? CarPon did a Stevie Nicks RD for the '80s theme. SmaDie did the Janis Joplin (partial) RD last season.

I think they fully tapped into Marjorie's over the top cheerleader personality in the RD.

The girl can out smile anyone on the circuit! Her growth into performing a piece like White Crow is remarkable.
