The author knew it was a french team, she just back to the 2014 team rather than the 2018 team. They still have not corrected it, ouch. Natalie for the win, why only Silver![]()
Thank you for my first laugh of the day!
This empathizes the need for good reporting/real information about the sport.Epic fail, yes... but pretty atypical of a lot of the articles from 'experts' doing Wikipedia level research that seem to pop up every four years.
Bummer! I had such high hopes! It's corrected now.
Fact checking has gone the way of the dodo.
Wait what? How does Sports Illustrated's "expert" confuse the two time world champs and reigning world silver medalists with a team that retired four years ago? Or maybe the expert only told the author "the French couple" would come in second and the author didn't do any research beyond a quick google for French Ice Dance teams? I'm so confused...
The first link is the corrected version. But the Sports Illustrated has it correct...It is the 2nd link that has it wrong.
The first link is the corrected version.
The second is screenshot of old wrong version!!
Sports Illustrated predicts Pechalat Bourzat will win silver in Pyeongchang
The best outcome.I would be happy with all of those results.
Tessa & Scott 5 time Oly medalists has a very nice ring to it. 3 Gold, 2 Silver would be jaw dropping...
