Skate America Free Dance -Chock and Awful

Love Loicia and Theo but this dance doesn't do anything for me. Even if I was into this video game it's based on, I'm not sure I'd understand it.

Why can't C/P break through? Are they really that crap/ IDK
I don't think so. I haven't figured out why they can't break through either. But as much as I love them, they aren't going to get by Z/K, I'm thinking. Z/K will be USA's next big champions (I hope).

Can't say that I really understand this program. I enjoy the quality of their skating, but their were a few dicey moments today in the twizzles, and a couple of the lift exits.

It seems like finally the panels are scoring how they should’ve been and following rules for elements that have time and time again been called generously. Rettstatt has shocked me with the very consistent conservative RD calls and once again getting Chock and Bates for an issue I’ve complained since the beginning of time.
It feels like this is a "reset" that should have started with the new Olympic cycle next season rather than during the Olympic season when teams have developed an understanding of how the scoring will usually go.

the beading on that deep V makes it look like Loicia had some sort of bedazzled untied tie thing going on.

That gusset on her catsuit is doing a lot of work, as is her pelvic basket. I’m impressed at them both.

I'm still over the overt NBC propaganda about Chock & Bates being slow is them "taking their time" and how it's a good thing.
 At first I was thinking they were going to compare the amount of multi-directional skating and the relative amount of steps and rink coverage in the pattern, but then it was slow = shows more !
