I really hate the foot positions in C&P’s twizzles. They’re so low that it looks like they are cheating by resting their blade on the other boot (at different angles), and I expect one of them to fall out and put a foot down. I like some of their positions, and I love her dress (which must also feel rough on his hands). Today, the Browns felt better, but that’s a NoTech reaction.

A bit shaky in the opening straight line lift, but then things seemed to come together better, and stronger for the rest of the program. Still not sold on the program, but it did feel more cohesive, and like one performance rather than a series of elements as compared to Skate Canada.

It seems like finally the panels are scoring how they should’ve been and following rules for elements that have time and time again been called generously. Rettstatt has shocked me with the very consistent conservative RD calls and once again getting Chock and Bates for an issue I’ve complained since the beginning of time.

Scott is a good coach. He knows good music and I thinks he has the integrity to not hold that against the music. I mean that.
That was a beautiful skate from CarPon, still room to improve but that was much better.
