Oh I'm sure it will be spectacular. And Kate as matron of honour - can you stand it??? :rollin:

Oo and I bet a certain adorable set of siblings will make their appearance in the wedding party too!

Does anyone remember William in Sarah and Andrew's wedding? He was very cute, and very naughty. I foresee some great photos of George if he is in the party!

I detest halos around a center diamond so I'm not fond of that ring. But it only matters if she likes it. She looks very happy.

I don't care for that style of ring, either, but will have to admit that it definitely calls attention. The center diamond would do that nicely on its own -- reported to be 3 carats. Here's a better image.

Pippa looks very happy and I hope that she will be in her marriage.

Now that I have a better view of it I dislike it even more. It kind of looks like an Art Deco man's ring. And that article implies that it's some kind of contest between sisters on who has the best/most expensive ring which is ridiculous. I have 2 sisters & none of us have ever compared our rings in competition. I sincerely doubt the Middleton sisters try to one-up each other.

I didn't take the article to imply anything about any sort of "contest" except in the writer's own mind (and whatever sort of readers who think that crass mercenary way about something so personal).

Meh, I just read it as putting the ring in context and adding to the word count of the article. Plus Kate likely has a higher search rating, so whenever they get a chance to mention her they will - likely in every single story about Pippa for the rest of her life.

Us magazine's articles don't mention Kate's ring at all - here's the latest.

I met Her Majesty the Royal Queen Mother Ashi Dorji Wangmo Wangchuck of Nepal. Gorgeous, and while I didn't think teal and pink belonged together other than on running shoes, it turns out that in silk it looks really fantastic. She's a good speaker, too.

George is a dead ringer for my friend's son, and I think they're close to being around the same age (my friend's son is maybe a bit younger?). They look so alike it's insane. Definitely adorably cute!

I do wonder if the members of the family will be covertly watching "The Crown." I understand Netflix spared no expense for this production.

The Royal Tour of BC starts in two hours. William, Kate and the kids arrive in Victoria and will be using this city as a home base for a week as they are transported to and from various communities.

Were you in the crowd on Saturday, JasperBoy? I was....what an event! William & Kate certainly wowed the crowd.

I lined up for three hours in the bloody cold, wind and rain to see them walk past me in 30 seconds on Sunday at Jack Poole Plaza!!! However, I sort of lucked out because their motorcade was parked directly in front of where I was standing so I was ttthhhiiiisssss close to them. Okay maybe 6 feet away but still. I was kind of sort of breathing the same air as them!!! I got some pictures but not very good because I'm very short and even when I lean over the barricade, taller people can lean further and thus ruin my vantage point. But I did get clear enough pics that you can see both William and Kate and one great one of him waving from the car window.

No, I didn't go, Nyrak. My back gets too sore if I try to stand still for more than 15 minutes. I watched from the comfort of my bed.
