Project Runway Spring 2019 Bravo

Is there a website with just the still shots from the runway shows? I can't find anything on the Bravo page. I can't always keep track of all the designers at the beginning of a season.

Anyone watch this week? I loved the creativity, so many unconventional challenges go horribly wrong but this was really good for most of the designers. I liked Renee's look, but I would have given the win to Rakan. Hester put out an amazing look as well. I'm sorry to see Afa go but man that was a bad look. I felt so bad for the models, it looked so cold and so many of the designers went for a lot of exposed skin.

I continue to be impressed with how well the designers work together and how they help each other. Christian and Marni make a great team, they really help focus the designers.

I continue loving the judges, such great chemistry.
Bravo!

I thought the clothes they came up with were amazing. I’m sad to see Afa go and think he’s more talented than some of the designers remain, his look was so bad I understand why they let him go.

I thought Kovid should have been out. His outfit just looked like he threw things on the model and tied a bungee cord on her.

Kovid made the cool pants. I think that saved him.
Based on what we’ve seen so far, ignoring the brief seems to be a quick way to get eliminated.

I turned the t.v. on the other night and there was a repeat of the "covered all with one pattern challenge"?. They were at the runway part, and with the new white runway room and lights and glare, I had a hard time seeing colors and patterns until they did a close up from the side. Everything was sort of tinted blue. It can't be my t.v. because the judges and contestants were clear.

The challenges this year are all fascinating so far. Really looking forward to next week. They’ve really done a great job at keeping the franchise alive and rejuvenated, and I particularly like how straight-forward Christian is.

Well that was another fun episode. I am loving how we are getting to know the designers without all the manufactured drama. I thought both Venny's and Bishme's looks were fantastic. I thought Venny's model absolutely loved her look and was working it for all it was worth, she looked amazing. Bishme really did nail the challenge, and I was happy to see him so invested in his design. I liked Garo's design, but hated the fabric, the exchange between him and Christian over whether it was tweed was hilarious.

Huge WTF to Kovid and Jamall, both designs were really bad. An equally big WTF Sebastian? He was damned lucky there were worse looks.

I don't know what Jamall was thinking. Seemed like the perfect challenge to make a puffer bomber jacket, and he makes a tea party dress?!

I didn't like Hester's either, it looked cheap. I thought Sebastian's pants at least looked luxurious.

Hester’s look was really cute and looked the part of a video game. I’m glad Venny was safe, but man that look was bad. How he could put out such an awesome look last week, then this disaster is mind boggling.

Definitely time for Rakan to go, he was struggling.

I love how they are giving us 1 1/2 hours of program, it really allows for showcasing the designers and their processes, plus we hear so much more of the judges thought processes.

I’m still adjusting to being able to see the whole process along with some real interactions with the models. This production crew is fantastic. They’re picking the vignettes based on how they relate to the design and critique, not the designers personalities.

I wanted to like this challenge, but I didn't end up really liking any of the outfits. It is nice to see that the designers do seem to genuinely like and support each other.

Hoping to see Sebastian back in the top next week!

None of the outfits were really wearable by ordinary people but that wasn’t the point of the challenge. As a Marvel fan, I loved the fantasy element in the challenge.

I went back and watched again, then looked at the stills and I think Sebastian wuzrobbed. The way his look moved on the runway and the level of intricate detail in put into that design was incredible. I loved it.

WTF Hester? Glued on pasties? Beyond that the skirt was ugly and she's damned lucky she had immunity.

ETA, my top 3 in in order would have been Sebastian :swoon: , Renee, Jamall. Honorable mention to Garo for finally giving the model a fabulous look for her body and embracing the curves. Huge :blah: to Tessa for a crappy boring look and carrying on about her model's curves.

Sebastian has incredible skills and his designs are stunning.

Tessa saying how she was designing for someone who looks like her mom (is her mom curvy?)really pissed me off. Her design was so boring. What is that M2M clothing business? The garanimals for adults? It's all leggings, long skirts, tops and dresses? It is as though she just bought those pieces.

It seems in the preview for this week's episode, that Bishme calls out Tessa for not being in the bottom. Which is accurate, but also not Tessa's fault that the judges didn't put her in the bottom.

Once again, hoping that Sebastian will be in the top this week!

Well......that was a ridiculous outcome. In WHAT WORLD was Sebastian not the winner of this challenge? Watching the runway, I was convinced the safe team was the winning team and Sebastian had the best look. Tessa's look was good and I am glad to see she did better with fitting her model this week. (Bishme was right to call her out on the previous week's look). Lela's look was pretty but fairly basic.

How on earth they could judge that ill-fitted mess of a bathing suit of Hester's the winner is beyond belief. Since that team was the winning team, I would have given the win to Bishme, his look was sophisticated and well designed. I thought Garo's look was matronly and bordering on frumpy. This is why I hate when the design is for a celebrity judge and they essentially get to pick the winner.

Losing team was definitely the weakest, I mean WTF Jamall? Judges called it right, a bad ice dancing costume. I felt bad for Renee but really that wasn't the greatest look beyond the fact that the pants were poorly fitted. Venny would have been better off making the dress full length and ditching the weird ruffles.

Come back Nina and Karli, having the two guest judges really threw things off track.

Totally agree.

The producers maybe wanted a potential Tessa freakout/meltdown or they are setting us up for one next episode by intentionally keeping her out of the top group. :D Just kidding, but I was surprised with the decision as well. And I’m really surprised how much I am liking all of Sebastian’s stuff.
