Demanding changing of a national law is a direct violation of the key UN resolution on sovereignty of the state. When IOC/WADA/CAS wants to ban someone, they use UN resolutions. But when a UN resolution is not in their favor, they pretend it doesn't exist.

The Goebbels rule about repeated lie becoming the truth is not working in the Internet era. It's stupid to lie when it can be easily googled. Not 14 countries + 27 of EU but 6 EU countries + Ukraine announced about political reasons not to attend the opening ceremony. But it's their problem. Not all Russian athletes in Paralympics 2026 are war veterans but none. It's quite possible that in the future war veterans will participate in Paralympics. The whole Paralympic movement started for World War II veterans to help them to integrate in the society. Both Paralympics and Special Olympics are humanitarian, regardless of the reason of disability: war, traffic accident or childbirth trauma. Ukraine should follow the Russian example of how to take care of war veterans, to the level that they can compete at Paralympics. But it's an illogical advise. Because Russian veterans were contracted, paid and chose the risk voluntarily. They were not kidnapped by the state and forced to fight.

No, I explained quite clearly early on in this thread why the current ban exists, why there will be no ban for the US or Israel, and why, even if the IOC were to lift the current ban, there is valid reason to expect WADA to attempt to ban Russia for non-compliance with the WADA code.
