I assume that if Guillaume teamed up with Laurence/ resumed their competitive career it's because they had some kind of guarantee she'd get citizenship on time for Olys.

Aymoz and Grassl have only one slot of championship points before the Olympics, so each will get full points for Euros. Both have a shot at catching Britschgi, who can earn a max incremental 344. Aymoz is currently 106 points behind Britschgi; Grassl is currently 444 points behind Britschgi and 338 behind Aymoz. Miura is 74 points behind Grassl and can earn an incremental 438 at 4C’s which he could very well win, but even a win puts him out of reach for 6th.
Since Sato, currently in 5th, isn’t going to 4C’s, he could be caught by Aymoz with 4th or above. Neither Britischgi with incremental points, or Grassl with full points, can surpass Sato.

I interviewed Djamel Cheikh at Nationals last year. He attends every single competition in France and abroad and his knowledge of FS has considerably improved
(Well, not hard since he knew nothing at the beginning ) He is a very nice and clever man, really invested in his job. I hope he will last! FFSG has made progress in some fields, like in communication with media. They have now a REAL communication manager and she is very competent and helpful.

In the US, especially in women’s sports, it’s not unusual for a sport to bring in a top executive who is expert in another sport. Management is management, politiks are politiks, and money is money. Someone who is clever, adaptable, pays attention, and doesn’t pretend to know everything can be very successful, to many’s surprise.

Exactly. Furthermore, DTNs (National Technic Managers) are not employed by FFSG but by the Ministry of Sports. They are in charge of performance, and performance is a common denominator to all sports. DTNs can bring a fresh look over the whole thing. Not being under the authority of the FFSG President also means they usually have no personal interest to defend.
