Aug. 24:

There are 2 new couples in junior that have drawn my attention :
One is training in Villard : that's Maissane Chine / Morgan Laliberté-Laurent. He's from Québec, she's from Bordeaux (she's Lucas Chataignoux's ex-partner).
The other is Kira Litskova / Tahory Taddei-Dugue (probably still with Stanislas Etzol, Arribert's ex-student). His ex-partner Louise Duprat has joined Villard after their split at the end of last season. Like Eva Bernard, Louise will do solo ice dance this season.

Aymoz and Grassl have only one slot of championship points before the Olympics, so each will get full points for Euros. Both have a shot at catching Britschgi, who can earn a max incremental 344. Aymoz is currently 106 points behind Britschgi; Grassl is currently 444 points behind Britschgi and 338 behind Aymoz. Miura is 74 points behind Grassl and can earn an incremental 438 at 4C’s which he could very well win, but even a win puts him out of reach for 6th.

Since Sato, currently in 5th, isn’t going to 4C’s, he could be caught by Aymoz with 4th or above. Neither Britischgi with incremental points, or Grassl with full points, can surpass Sato.
