It's a good weekend indeed! First the memento from Bob yesterday, and then today Jeeves & Sapphire finally showed up! (tower + deluxe tuna, a combo I've had before but this was the first time it "worked") And were generous with their gifts, 39 silver from him, 3 gold from her. So worth waiting for.

And then I finally got a picture Peaches' lovely face -- in all my previous pictures of her she either had her back to me, or was asleep.

It was a good memento weekend for me too! I got Rascal, Ganache and Guy Furry.

At this point, I'll be happy if Jeeves and Sapphire stop by even when I'm not watching. I have the parasol and tower of treats out. I've been feeding the cats the special bonito and tuna food and ... nada, zip, not a single visit.

The glass vase or the red heating stove. Frisky bits and patience will work. He cooks a pizza on the red heating stove, it's very cute.

He makes a gourmet ice cream sundae if you use the glass vase. (His English name is a pun on Guy Fieri so it's not surprising he cooks when he visits.)

My kids play Neko Atsume. Meaning, they pick their favorite cat and pretend to be that cat. My 10 year old, Francesca, just told me about her plans for gym class today. She and her friends have planned to be cats. She picked Marshmallow. It's funny how this game has really taken off.

I keep missing Sapphire and Jeeves Us too! We've had the toys they like and deluxe tuna in BOTH bowls for ages and they've only visited once
And we decided - don't ask me why - that we need to get them before we can remodel again...it's got to a point where my husband texts me several times a day from his workplace (where he has a high-flying important and serious grown-up job): "what's happening on Neko? Don't forget to check for Jeeves!"

It's the bonito that seems to be working for me re: Jeeves & Sapphire. And there was about an hour yesterday when Sapphire left and Jeeves was there on his own -- which was nice for photo purposes. Perhaps he was cleaning up.

Put out the stove (which I've had before) and the vase, and got Guy Furry visiting overnight. And it's a hoot to see the kitties occupying the vase!

This sounds great I like Marshmallow too, I'm even thinking of buying a Marshmallow T-shirt to wear in summer. I love how the cats are drawn in a very simple but adorable manner.

I haven't bought sashimi for ages. My normal strategy is Frisky Bits in the outside bowl (since that's the one Tubbs goes to and I don't want to waste expensive food on him), and inside is usually Ritzy but sometime Bonito.

That's my strategy as well. Speaking of Tubbs, I don't know whether to laugh or feel sad at this comic

He only came by once, but now I have had all the non-rare cats.

I got Chairman Meow's memento so I put out the Fairy Tale Parasol to try and get Sapphire and Jeeves. No luck yet but it's been less than a day.

Sapphire and Jeeves took a long time to get the first time and then a longer time for a second visit (the third was a little quicker). They seem to be picky about food, and @Artemis@BC's recommendation of Bonito Bitz helped, though I've read that they'll also come for the Deluxe Tuna.

^ They never came for the deluxe tuna for me, but I too read on one of those tips sites that they like it. But since bonito is cheaper I'm sticking to that.

Plus Tubbs scarfed all the deluxe tuna every time I put it out, but doesn't seem to come for the bonito. I still put frisky bits in the outside bowl most of the time because of piggy Tubbs, but sometimes I want to double-up on the good food and the toys that attract the rares.

I finally saw Frosty in the flesh and was able to get a picture! She was the last one I was waiting for to have photos of everyone in the Catbook, and it took a loonnng time (and much baiting) for me to finally catch her.

I had a good week for mementos as well - I got Pepper's, Lady MeowMeow's and Ramses'. Finally I can get rid of the ugly of the ugly pyramid! Also I got a visit from Kathmandu. I've been trying to get Chairman Meow but no dice so far. I'm missing him along with Bob, Ms Fortune and Sassy Fran.

Sapphire and Jeeves have only shown up for the deluxe tuna thus far.

Luckily for you, Sassy Fran comes out pretty quickly and fairly often as soon as you set out the cardboard cafe. I think she was the first rare cat I saw when I started playing.

It's Sassy Fran. I got Miss Fortune ages ago. I got Sapphire and Jeeves today but I was working so no picture. The Deluxe Tuna worked well. Today was the first time I put it out.

I'd tried both the tuna and bonito and no luck so today I remodeled to the sugary style and was rewarded with my first visit from Jeeves and Sapphire. I also have Spots and Speckles looking adorable as they hang out together on the giant cushion. Meanwhile, Peaches is having the time of her life playing with the butterfly swarm. It's been a very good day in my yard.

This week, I've gotten mementos from Billy, Bob, Ramses, Conductor Whiskers, and St Purrtick.
Meanwhile, Xerxes is up to 50 visits without a memento...

Also, for now I've stopped waiting for Sapphire and Jeeves in order to focus on some of the other rares because it seems more productive that way.
