Thanks! 20, which isn't so bad, given Saint Purrtrick's at 44 :eek: (I don't really mind that, though, because I love his cushion anyway)

Most of the ones I'm still waiting for mementos from are at 15 or under, and I've yet to see the new rares. Fun times!
 
The new rare ones haven't shown up for me yet either, but it has only been 24 hours. :D I did get both Apricot and Ganache yesterday though. And Rascal spent some time on the new royal bed -- all curled up though so I couldn't see him clearly.

I like Saint Purrtrick's cushion too -- and so do the very generous cats (Lexy in particular). So it will stay.

I just checked and Bob has been 18 times to my yard, so fingers crossed his record will be similar for me. My strategy for today is have the parasol out during the day when I can check often, then I'll put the metropolis back tonight.

I was starting to wonder if cats don't give mementos unless you catch them on the toy. However, today proved that concern wrong (the food and all cats were gone by morning, but Bob still gave me his memento).
 
Threatening to refill the food bowl as soon as Tubbs arrived had its effect -- I finally got his memento. :lol:

I had my first Billy the Kitten sighting last night and now have had a visit from all except the two new rare ones.
 
I had just finished getting all the cats to visit when the update came... but already Apricot and Ganache have each visited once. Just need the two rares which I guess come as a pair. I put out that new tray thing but not sure I like it, so may buy that fairy parasol to attract them. I had a question about the fancy foods for gold... is there always the option to buy in bulk at a discount or is that a limited time sale? Thanks in advance for the answer!
 
Still no appearances from Jeeves and Sapphire for me, not for either the parasol or the "tower of treats." But I just read at this link that they like the deluxe tuna, so maybe I'll splurge.

I'm not fond of the tower of treats aesthetically, but the cats who do visit it have been very generous with their gifts, so I guess it's not all bad.
 
I read that tip on the food, so splurged on a 3-pack yesterday with no luck. Will convert some more silver fish today to try again. I've just been using the parasol, so I should also get the "tower of treats."

Has anyone had less luck with sashimi since the update? Might just be me (and me having the ability to check more often on the long weekend).
 
I haven't bought sashimi for ages. My normal strategy is Frisky Bits in the outside bowl (since that's the one Tubbs goes to and I don't want to waste expensive food on him), and inside is usually Ritzy but sometime Bonito. I just bought Deluxe Tuna and will try that in the inside bowl once it needs refilling.

I have another question though: is there a "barrier" at all between the two halves? So, for example, if I have Deluxe Tuna inside but the Tower of Treats outside, will that still work to attract Jeeves & Sapphire? Or do I have to have the Deluxe Tuna outside as well?

If they leave you a memento when you next log on the game - the screen goes black for a second and then the cat comes on the screen and a popup shows the memento. Afterwards you can see the memento both in the Catbook and in the Memento section.

I too can't get the two new rares to show despite trying both deluxe tuna and sashimi - guess they are just biding their time with me!

I've only had them visit once; it was with the parasol and the Bonito Bitz. OTOH, I've had Frosty visit quite a bit recently... although I still only have 6 visits total so it might just be making up for lost time.
 
Finally got a rare cat memento- Mr Meowgi after only 4 visits. Bob, Xerxes and Ramses are all slackers! :lol:

I usually keep the nicer food inside too (to keep it away fromTubbs) and the Frisky Bitz outside. I always assumed that there was a barrier.

I didn't realize that Kathmandu didn't come for the Ritzy and the lacquered bowl. Whoops :shuffle: At least Lexy liked it!

Since Billy and Guy Furry dropped their mementos so quickly, I think I got spoiled. Now I'm impatient for Ramses, Joe DiMeowgio and Saint Purrtrick to drop theirs and nothing. :drama:

2nd night in a row that I've had the metropolis out all night, and no sign of Bob. Grr. But at least the other kitties liked it, and were generous with their gifts.

I'm fairly certain the game is deliberately inconsistent from one player to the next. I got my mementos very quickly from Xerxes, Don Gato, and fairly quickly Purrtrick, but nothing from Billy despite his many visits.

I think so too. I received the memento from Bob after 5 visits and received one from Billy today after 6 visits. It took over 40 visits before I received one from Tubbs though. My highest counts without mementos are Ramses (35), Rascal (27) and Xerxes (26).
 
I've had Ganache 4 times and every single one of them he was gone before I checked. I did get Frosty today and I got a picture of him too. I haven't had the new rares yet but I don't want to get rid of my current set of toys until I get more mementos.
 
Got Ganache and Apricot, but looks like I'll have to splurge on the fancy food now. I want to save for the new expansion so fingers crossed it's not too many tries!
 
Rascal just came for the tower of treats. I almost didn't notice it was him, I thought it was Lexy.

She's become a favorite with me as well. I love how she color coordinates herself with my decor. Right now she's hiding in plain sight at the scratching log and she also likes spending time in the Egyptian pyramid.
 
I too have Ganache scratching away at the log right now -- and Apricot is sleeping in the log house right beside her.

The log house is definitely a successful addition -- lots of cats seem to like it, and it's one of the few "small" toys that holds 2 cats. Plus it looks nice. :D
 
I've been using the log house a lot too.
I showed the app to family members on the weekend too. Two of my ieces thought it was great - but they are 4 & 7, so I'm not sure I want to think about the implications of that.
 
Finally got Sapphire and Jeeves to appear today... I broke down and got the Fairy Parasol and they showed up - they refused to show up on the Tower of Treats that I had out for days! lol
 
I guess I'll have to put the parasol back. *sigh* I was hoping they'd come to the tower, aesthetically I like it a bit more, and it fits more cats. Plus the cats are in shadow when they're under the parasol and don't photograph as well.

But I'll have to wait a bit, the metropolis is still fully occupied (5 cats!). I'm sure Tubbs will come along soon though and take care of that ...
