I was so excited when he finally visited since I had the Sakura pillow out forever and he left me one measly fish :P

Rascal finally visited :cheer: of course, only when I had the nice food out.

Some of the goodies are really cute - I love the parasol and the Royal bed - but the Choco tunnel looks like a big turd :rofl:

I don't mind the royal bed, but the parasol is so not my style. However it looks like it's the best way to get the 2 new rare cats, so I might have to put up with it.

And ITA about the tunnel. :lol:
 
I got my first new car - Ganache! He was on the new parasol. :D now I want chocolate.

I also like the new sugary remodel. :shuffle: I have the zen right now (which I like a lot) but don't love the other styles aside from the new one.
 
Both Ganache (luxurious hammock) and Apricot (zanzibar cushion) have visited already! :cheer:

I think it's time for tough love to Tubbs though. He's visited 41 times, been a big piggy scarfing up the food and hasn't even left a memento. :drama:
 
No Tubbs memento??! So stingy of him!

I'm starting to think that Saint Purrtrick will be my last outstanding memento. I picked up his cushion early in the game simply because I liked it (before I really understood the rare cats situation), so he was visiting me so early that I didn't realize he was a rare cat. Apparently his memento is rare (for me).
 
Ganache came to the parasol for me, but came and went within half an hour so I didn't see him/her.

I got Saint Purrtrick's memento after about 15 visits, but Tubbs took over 50.
 
Ganache loves the parasol- I've seen him 3 times already. Apricot visited once but the stinker had his back to me. :P

Love having new cats and stuff- whee! :)
 
New cats and new stuff? I haven't even got all the old stuff yet!
But a butler cat named Jeeves is just too funny.
 
I've had a visit from Apricot already.
I have the zen remodel up right now, but it doesn't seem to matter what I put on the spot on the bridge, I cannot seem to attract cats. I've tried toys, cushions, the orange cube, bean bag - no luck. Any suggestions?

I've had lots of different toys there and they all seem to get used. Cowboy hat, silk cushion, snowy cushion, and scratching log for sure. It's also where I parked the new "royal bed," and Fred was firmly ensconced there all afternoon.

I got Apricot on the stump house.
I haven't had issues with the bridge spot. I have the zen, too. I've had both the red and sakura pillows there. Lots of visits from Saint Purrtrick, Gabriel, Lexy, Fred, Princess, etc.

I haaaate how my yard looks right now. I have a mishmash of styles - the luxurious hammock, the cardboard choo-choo, the baseball , the pyramid - all in attempts to bribe rare cats with sushi. Feh. Speaking off, I've had 13 and 12 visits from Ramses and Saint Purrtrick without a memento. I got it quickly from the other rare cats, so now I'm annoyed :P

I've had as many as 15-20 visits from rare cats and not a single memento from anyone other than Tubbs. :P

I, too, have had no issues with items on the bridge spot. In fact, it usually makes for a nice photo when the kitties visit there.
 
And yet both Xerxes and Señor Don Gato brought me mementos after only 5 and 7 visits, respectively.

There's just no pattern to this thing. Which I think is probably part of the reason it's so compelling!
 
Anyone else having issues with the app freezing or crashing since the update? I had no problems before, but since the update, have had it freeze/crash about a half dozen times.
 
Not on an iPhone, sorry. :(

I think some people on the Neko Atsume Reddit maybe been, so maybe check there to see how they dealt with the problem?

No problems since the update on my Google Nexus tablet. Before the update it would occasionally have a black screen when I woke the app up, but I'd just minimize and maximize again and all is good. I think I've done that once since the update.
