That score really disgusts me. Their PCS should have taken a far bigger hit than it did for that shitshow of a program. The fact that they have a higher PCS than EfiMit, and 2nd highest overall at the moment, angers me a LOT.

MiNiki - She's in a white, mostly sheer lingerie dress that any virginal bride might wear on her wedding night; he is in all black with silver vines over his shoulders and the front of his sheer black shirt.

The Four Seasons, Concerto No.4 in F Minor , RV 297 „Winter“ by Antonio Vivaldi
The Four Seasons Summer Re:Scored

This is a very dark version of The Four Seasons and I'm not sure how I feel about it. Elements all seem very solid and strong - they're going to be hard to beat at Worlds this year. And now we're into the more familiar "Winter" section - with a chorus too! This seems like it should have been saved for the Olympic season, TBH, because it would slay in Milano-Cortina.

Nice skate, but she needs to be straighter in the air on that last lift. She risks overbalancing and a fall. But, he's the luckiest Russian pair skater who was going nowhere in Russia and now is going somewhere.

Looked to me like Ellie didn’t get into position as needed and he buckled.
It looked to me like she slipped trying to get onto his legs, there were some adjustments and either his foot didn’t get turned out in time or he hit a rut in the ice. Luckily the fall looked better in slo mo than it did in real time!

That was a great skate and terrific music choice. Really shows up the deficiencies in other music selections.

I enjoy the free from the Germans a lot more than their short. Some really nice quality from them. They still of course can work on their expression but some nice pair skills there.

Just checking results before watching films:

WOOHOO! HASE-VOLODIN WON!!! 🇩🇪
They beat THE World Champions.

Just watched. OMG OMG OMG! This is the pairs skating that I love, with Vivaldi’s Four Seasons in a stormy version, followed by the classical Winter with a majestic chorus! Not some modern Muse whine but a true grand chorus.
Minerva looks like a pure angel in sheer white. I had tears of joy. The Pairs that I love are back. (So were the Chinese last year with Sorcerer’s Apprentice but I may have read that they’re no more.)

S-D/D were fine although not close to the Germans. Was this a Little Mermaid take, with bubbling-water sounds? Costumes were bright, depicting an ocean. Why does Deanna open her “Ah mouth” when lifted? “I’m up, Mommy!?” I didn’t get it.

I need to find Kam/O’Shea’s FP but it seems that it went south, by the notes. Better luck at the next event.

Definitely not a fan of Four Seasons, but totally loved that Free program from Minerva and Nikita. If skated clean, the last minute and last lift will bring the house down at big events.

Not sure if it has been mentioned, but Nikita said he has private German classes almost every day, will take language exam this spring

What a nice start to the pairs, I really enjoyed the Germans and both Canadian teams (for the long programs).

So, how many senior pairs teams have had more than 5 deductions at a GP, Challenger, or other major ISU event?
