It's a very good program, but not the same quality as at the Olympic qualifying event.

Shin and Nagy will of course peak at Nationals and USFS will find a way to send them to Milan.
I'll make up my mind about this theory after tomorrow's FS - if they can't crack 180 overall and the USFS still gives them SkAm, then I'll be convinced you're right.

He's clean cut now, they are much more engaging towards the audience and each other than a few years ago, and they stepped outside the box for choreography by going to Luca Lanotte. I don't think it's a masterpiece but some of this was really nice, that little bit of choreography going into the death spiral was something I don't think I've seen before.

Technically proficient, but still boring. I do think the simple, clean costumes accentuate the cleans lines of their elements.

70.15 = 1st Place

"Very, very good, except for X, Y and Z" When did splatting all over the ice and popping jumps become very, very good?
"Excellent. It could have been worse"

I can't take Mark for a full season. I just can't.

Good for the Hungarians. I assume Fedor is waiting with Tarasova for their baby to make its entrance.

PavSvia - did they borrow Gabi & Gui's RD costumes from 4 years ago? 3tw - nice; throw 3lz - his throw technique is wild & how she lands anything I'll never know; SBS 3t - bit wild on the landings; lift - nice flow; BIDS - fine; step seq - oh, yeah, so, no he didn't borrow Gui's shirt - it's not sheer, lol; SBS spins - synch goes awry...

Well, Chris, I wouldn't call it "brilliant". It was adequate. I'm sure it will score well, but probably not as high as Alexei thinks and we may get some dissatisfied expressions from him in the KnC, lol.

Back into calls so missed the first group, here in time for Pavlova/Sviatchenko. Couldn't have music on, but wow what an improvement in their packaging! Clean cut and much better presented. Nice elements and more connection between them than in the past. Glad to see their progression! Into first with a new PB!

SDDes - what are these costumes? I'm truly distracted by these costumes and can't even focus on the good elements they're delivering so far, but that assisted backflip still needs to go - it's dumb and they're neither Adam nor Ilia.

Better program than the Hungarians, but the jump elements were really stalked and the toes mistimed. I’d give it to the Hungarians but suspect the judges will disagree.
