That's what they tell me!Thank you @Server Guy! You already know this but you are awesome.![]()
I believe you can do that by using "Advanced Search".Is there an option to search by forum like there used to be?
I see only search everything, search threads, search profile posts (what does that mean?), and search tags, but no search by forum.I believe you can do that by using "Advanced Search".
If you go to "search threads" you will see additional options.I see only search everything, search threads, search profile posts (what does that mean?), and search tags, but no search by forum.
Thanks - I'll go look.If you go to "search threads" you will see additional options.
Agreed!Thank you @Server Guy for page navigation at the top of the thread. I've already used it at least three or four times today. Including in this thread![]()
What about using one of the 'like' options? If you used the same option for posts you wanted to read later, and then you can access the list of 'Ratings Given' to see which posts you gave which 'like' option to.@Server Guy this is just a thought, and what you have already done is great, but is there any possibility of ever having a "save post" function, like reddit has for example? Sometimes a post has a lot of links or information and I want to save it to read later. Boomarking isn't always an option because I use a variety of different browsers and devices, so being able to save posts to my account to read later would be a really cool option to have.
Yup! I could make this happen. Leave it with me since my plate is relatively full at the moment but I’ve added it to my todo list.@Server Guy this is just a thought, and what you have already done is great, but is there any possibility of ever having a "save post" function, like reddit has for example? What iPhone do you have and what kind of dodgy behaviour is it experiencing? I use an iPhone primarily and I don't think I've noticed any issues. This recent upgrade works very well and looks great on a laptop and notebooks - ThinkPad and iPad. The iPhone is still dodgy, but considering the other avenues available to access FSU, it's no big deal. The iPhone can take a little vacation…![]()
Agreed. I spent this morning shovelling snow off my driveway and Verdana also made me feel better after that! Thanks a whole bunch @Server Guy, I was kind of busy with the Northeaster here in US state of PA, finished shoveling the heavy snow off all of my shrubs, came in and saw the Verdana font is here. I know it's not magic, but it is so much better.
Well, I’ve upgraded to an iPhone 4 from my old rotary dial… that’s how old this sentimental dinosaur is which could be more than half the reason why I am having issues with it.What iPhone do you have and what kind of dodgy behaviour is it experiencing? It's a little round about but if you select 'Content', then select 'Your Profile' from the sub menu at the top of the page. Then select the drop down menu that starts with 'Find' it allows you to select 'Find all threads started by "yournamehere". Maybe that feature could be moved to a more easily accessible place. One thing I noticed is missing, is when I go through my own profile, and look my past postings, it only lists 'Content', but not 'Threads', meaning threads started by me. That feature made it easier for me to do updates on, shall we say, ongoing interests.

Okay, so there is an easy way to find threads that you've started. The drop down menu for 'Forums' has an option for threads that you've started. It's a little round about but if you select 'Content', then select 'Your Profile' from the sub menu at the top of the page. Ah, thanks! I didn't know that routeOkay, so there is an easy way to find threads that you've started. The drop down menu for 'Forums' has an option for threads that you've started.
For the most part, yeah. All these differences that people are noting must be on phones?
Have been using an iPhone mobile app and unable to log in since upgrade. After I attempt to log in it says "your account doesn't have admin privileges".
