Finnish skating news 2017/18

Finnish synchro team winning the Worlds yesterday got some actual attention in the sports media. E.g. YLE TV1 sports news made it their #1 story, you can watch it here (I think it's not geoblocked but Flash Player problems sometimes occur with this YLE Areena stuff): https://areena.yle.fi/1-4294374?autoplay=true

Also the quest for making synchro an Olympic sport was discussed. If there's anybody here who's not Finnish and wants to know more in detail what is being said here, let me know!

^ Wow, that's a whole lot of Lindforses, especially considering that there's also the ice dancer! Speaking of that Lindfors: on STLL's Facebook page it says that Lindfors/Pirinen have spent some time on Moscow to train and get a new FD, and Turkkila/Versluiss spent 3 weeks in Detroit working on programs with Camerlengo (SD) and Scali (FD).

Maybe Junior Team was not the best translation. The members are mainly Novices.
Best Seniors and Juniors are in Team Finland.

I think they have had harder criterias than before, especially for men/boys. There are only Valtter Virtanen and two very young promising boy skaters.
