Minerva & Fabian were SO GREAT except for the death spiral - huge performance quality and high technical skill aside from the error

MiNiki - 3tw - fine; SBS 3s - clean; throw 3lo - solid; lift - good; BODS - omg - he totally lost the pivot - no value!; SBS spins - alright - far apart; step seq - decent but slow.

There is no way this should lead, but I don't trust the judges to not give them the lead on PCS.

They were skating beautifully, and then the death spiral just fell apart in a way that I don't think I've ever seen before in a competition at this level. I guess better here than at an event with more of the top level competitors, but nerves again affecting their performance.

Hmmm .... was not expecting that DS error. I like Minerva's dress ... not keen on the see-through shirts on men. I don't know if I am EVER going to be able to erase from my mind the season Minerva had the grey panties. It's part of what made me notice their skating for the first time, so I guess it was a wise fashion choice afterall.

Hmmmmm... It definitely looked like her rear scraped the ice. They got a bit lucky there from the tech panel.

I dunno... PerMich seemed slow compared to the other three teams; though I do think that MiNiki were overscored and should have been behind the other three by a point or so.

I'm ok with the scores where they are. Lia/Trennt skated cleanly, but they don't have the big wow elements for me which keeps their GOE down. Alissa/Misha had their usual issues with the SBS and Ellie/Danny had their usual throw issue. Between the 2, I tend to enjoy K/O more (love their lifts, and they tend to project out more). Minerva/Nikita would have had a well deserved lead if they had gone clean, but their score is the one I would argue the most only because they didn't get a fall deduction.

They're so close that the SP won't really matter in the long run, so let's see where it lands tomorrow.

You'd put E&M first? IMO and the choreography is rather light. Renee Roca used to put out some great work but this is just a bunch of nothing for two skaters that continue to give next to nothing.

I think H&V deserved the fall deduction but probably still the lead and then maybe the Canadians.

Mischa - Finland is our second home, we were excited to skate here

Danny - something about we were happy to skate well

Minerva - Not worried about score just want to have strong performance and hopeful to skate well in Free
