Well, this WILL put PerMich in the final group for the FS, lol.

The landing on the throw looked painful for Rebecca's ankle, and then also an issue in the combination spins will hold back their score.

I just can't seem to get into this team, not sure what it is. Maybe something with the posture in the lift (her shoulders feel really high). Typically throws are one of their better elements, but just kinda messy today.

Kam & O'Shea are the anti Efimova & Mitrofanov. Ellie & Danny skate with so much joy. The ending of this program with the lasso lift and then how it settles down with the death spiral. It's so good.

Beautiful program, and the choreography and some of the elements, like the lasso lift, are among the best in the world. That said the throws are still holding them back, and another team with spin issues today.

The presentation was really wonderful, even with the throw mistake and meh SBS spins. I love how they incorporate dance lifts & transitions into their choreo (and on a superficial note I think Ellie's dress is stunning)

Ellie had her mandatory touch-down (sigh) but, overall, that was a good skate for them. That lift dismount is just WOW! I always find myself holding my breath when they skate .... I'm always nervous for them. How can you not like Danny .... always smiling. Oh my gosh, and they get 70+ points too. Good for them. Doing the happy dance here.
