Check it out here! I made an website that can calculate technical scores according to this year's new ISU rules. It's for singles skating unfortunately. I will be adding program components functionality soon! Also there maybe bugs. If you find some please tell me so I can fix them!

EDIT: Version 0.2 is now live with PCS calculations!

Very cool! A suggestion: It would be great to be able to shift around elements and change GOE after they are entered, particularly if you're trying to get a sense of how a good/bad score would look with a particular PPC.

Also, I don't think the 10% bonus works in the calc? (I was wrong, it works fine, nothing to see here, lol)

It's pretty good. What does the asterisk mean?

Asterisk means invalid element. The element automatically gets a score of 0. if you look at enough protocols you'll see it. I put it in so if a skater does something that wouldn't count, then you could just star the entire thing

I'll think about implementing that. My technical skills aren't good enough to do it right now so it might be a while before I get to that point unfortunately. But I'll put that in the feature wishlist. thanks!

I see the updated version now. Nice work. There's an app on the Apple store that has it about 95% right, but the calculations get screwed up with the GOE's somewhere along the line.

The majority of the time I've scored a program for my own interest, I've had to do it all by hand. Thanks for this!

(ETA- I think the only thing you'd have left to tackle is putting the exceptions in automatically- ie. when a skater does three of a certain double or triple, when a skater repeats more than two triples, when a skater repeats a triple or quad not in combination, etc. But I know that's a lot of math!)

What does factor at the top of PCS mean?
In order for TES & PCS to roughly balance out to 50% of the score each, the average score of the judges for each component is multiplied by given factor for the different disciplines and the different segments of the competition. The highest factor I believe is given in the Men's Free Program in order to balance the super high technical content with the components.

For example, Ladies Short Program component scores are multiplied by a factor of 0.80, while the Ladies Free Program components are factored by 1.60. For the Men, the Short Program factor is 1.00, while the Free Program is 2.00, and so on, for each segment of each discipline.

Hope that helps
