Both you and I can only speak to what came out publicly. Speculations are just that, speculations.

We saw more than enough of speculations in the Mariah Bell vs. Eunsoo story.

Cause and effect can only be established when you have full facts of the "cause." All you have is your personal assumptions of guilt and innocence. Even if your worst accusations were true, there is there was no justification for disclosing a deeply personal conversation in order to publicly humiliate Medvedeva. None. The whole "she did it first" premise is very pre-kindergarden. But I digress...

But you are assigning blame to one oarty. You can’t do that without the knowledge of ALL the facts, not inly the ones that are known to public. You are speculating by believing that everything that happened between them is known to you. I doubt that you know everything.

I am saying, we ALL can only speak with certainty to what is public.
I saw behavior on the part of Medvedeva that didn't sit well with me and am no longer her supporter, although I was at one time.

I am, also, appalled by the response of some posters to the Instagram posting discussing a personal struggle and tragedy.

You just proved my point. It was exactly as you said, the insinuation of "unsportsmanlike behavior"; thrown out there like it was nothing. Say the accusation is true. An18 year old girl lost her temper at the worst moment of her life, and said something stupid and petty. We all say dumb things in private, things that we regret. We just don't expect these things to be used it as a weapon against us. We fact that a 44 year old woman did use it as a weapon to retaliate against a teenage girl is petty, immature and utterly classless. No way to spin it otherwise.

I never said that he was the only one. I said that he was the only one about whom I'd heard, and he happened to be just the proof that even bringing flowers doesn't stop ET from flinging dirt to the back of the flower-bringer.

And she was quite rightfully accused of wrong-doing. She pressed him to compete with the already injured back, and then tried to weasel out, saying that he had just being lazy.

I'm not wrong, and you can't sell your lies to a person, who has finished school, graduated from a university and is now working at another university. Do I not know when and where students bring gifts to teachers? Yes, the most classical and traditional situation is giving a joint gift when finishing course/class/training. But a student transferring to another school/institute would hardly be running among his teachers giving them gifts)) He can, of course, give smth to a certain teacher to whom he feels special affection or respect, but, again, it's up to him, it's a goodwill gesture.
There can sometimes be some ugly situations - usually at schools, where teachers are more authoritative - when some b**ches purposefully press students to give them gifts, in return for decent treatment and marks, but come on... even when students and their parents put up with it, among themselves they would call it what it is - outright blackmailing. Have you brought up this point in order to show that Tutberidze is just of the same batch?

18 years old is old enough to be responsible for what you say. If you say something, why should others cover for you?
She could have easily done damage control and said that it was a stupid thing to say. End of story.

Why are you assuming that Eteri spoke the truth? And what's there to cover for? Covering for someone means intentionally concealing information you are asked to provide. Did someone ask Eteri to provide the content of private conversations? Did Medvedeva commit a crime and ask Eteri to cover for her? As far as the damage control goes: Medvedeva could have gone on a national TV and thrown a few accusations at Eteri, no? If she is such a terrible human, why wouldn't she spin a couple of things, use a couple of private conversations to make Eteri look bad? Wait, maybe she chose not to stoop to that level.

I thought we already agreed that saying something nice about a person does not mean that the person didn’t emotionally abuse her. Especially when the person was in position of power towards her, so you wouldn’t really expect her to say anything bad about Tutberidze, would you? So what exactly do you think posting those links prove? Nothing.

I never agreed. 11 years is a long time to be saying "how great my coach is".
Med did not accuse her of emotional abuse, EVER before or after.

Med had a capricious temper tantrum that Eteri gave 100% opportunity to win gold to both girls.

Medvedeva expected to be Eteri's priority and to hold Alina back, because she felt entitled.

If Alina, after messing up the first combo in FS, did not tack on the 2nd jump later in the programme, she would not have won, with that mistake.

Medvedeva would have won, and would be perfectly happy, even if she won because Alina made a mistake, and not because both skated their best and Medvedeva was better.

It was all about winning. The circumstances did not matter. She did not win - she got pissed and decided to kick the whole card house down.

Where do I say that Medvedeva is a horrible human being? I just don't like her behavior and am no longer her fan.
And, if you read this thread, there are plenty of examples of how her team certainly tried to make Eteri look bad.
 
Nobody knows Medvedeva for sure said any of that stuff about Alina. The video of the supposed you gave Alina enough to win does not show her saying those words. So why keep spreading the rumors when false. And why are grown adults hating on a child? Seems unhealthy from Coach and obsessed fans. I hope Medvedeva has body guards

Oh, did she really say these? It's nothing..According to the bunch of experts of child abusing here Med didn't know what she was saying about (as the other pupils, too). She didn't know that she was abused then thus she defended Eteri. These intelligent! words just a 16 y.o. abused child's dream about that person who didn't gave her water, and gave her to eat powder. Eteri could do it because Dudakov and Daniil abused the younger girls in the group. Dudakov forced Trusova and Scherbakova to land quads he didn't care about their healthy despite they didn't want to do quads. During these Daniil made the awful choreographies and laughed at the children.

Eteri doesn't deserve a little sympathy at all because of her tragedies. The sarcasm and the laugh is welcomed at her story.

My point exactly!! LOL. Trash talk shows and sites, sources who told someone who told someone else who told someone else. Right up there with The National Enquirer. I have no dog in the discussion on Eteri to be honest as I don’t know her so no opinion. I liked Med with Eteri, I’m fine with where she is now. I like Kostornaia and Trusova and they skate with Eteri. Where Med trains and why she chooses where she trains is none of my business. Or yours for that matter. You’ve absolutely no idea what went down in the final months with Eteri except what Eteri has publicly said. Yet apparently for you a bunch of gossip sites saying stuff about someone they’ve never spoken to in person are true and what Eteri said ‘in public’ is irrelevant. You quote gossip sites and make up interpretations from video that Med has denied and other Russian speakers say is incorrect. Seriously, your picking on the personalities of these kids (one of whom is still with Eteri) with clearly hours and hours of internet trolling is quite frankly bizarre

That conversation will never be known... i am sure.

On the other hand, "hard core profanities" for skating kids as young as 6-7 years old, at russian rinks, are all over their own IG "stories", and other live videos they post about themselves, with out shame... Like we say in Russia - "my ears are welting" when i hear how they talk in those videos.
