I disliked this FD for Orihara/Pirinen as much as I loved their RD. I agree with those who found it flat. (Better this season than next, though, if some program has to.)

I LOVED Turkkila/Versluis' program, aside from the ice grabbing about 10 seconds before the end. I thought it was a fantastic use of how the music ebbs and flows.

I disliked this FD for Orihara/Pirinen as much as I loved their RD. I agree with those who found it flat. (Better this season than next, though, if some program has to.)

I LOVED Turkkila/Versluis' program, aside from the ice grabbing about 10 seconds before the end. I thought it was a fantastic use of how the music ebbs and flows.

O/P's FD is dreadful. The music doesn't mesh with the choreography in any logical way for most of it and they were so often not even on the beat I was screaming.

Respectfully, I disagree about T/V. I did love the opening step sequence, but I honestly don't get a tango for these two. IMO they have zero of that fiery chemistry one wants in a tango. I think they can improve technically a lot (the lifts were not up to their standard) and improve the crisp arm/hand and feet movements to match better. But sweeping and subtle is their wheelhouse, and while I appreciate trying something new, I feel like this program just highlights their weaknesses.
