Big Brother (US) Season 20!

ETA- I hope CBS realizes now that no one is going to care about the Bayleigh and Swaggy showmance. They are clearly the two most disliked people of the season and they don't need to be on any further seasons/The Amazing Race/whatever else.

Paulie and Natalie from season 18 have migrated over to MTV shows: Ex on the Beach/Challenge for Paulie and a couple of challenges for Natalie; Davonne & Jozea are on Challenge this year too (hold my head in shame that I know that; actually Ex on the Beach was so craptacular it was great TV) so it will be interesting to see if any from this season follows them into MTV land.

Well it took Bayleigh two days to explode, and when she did she screamed so hard she cut her mouth and started bleeding. Here's a video of the full incident since it will probably be edited for the show. She is a piece of work.

Haleigh told Baleigh last night that she's the Hacker, and it was Haleigh's brilliant idea to announce it to everyone to save Bayleigh from eviction. Fool Fessy thinks there could be a unanimous vote to save her.

 Bayleigh may be one of the worst people to ever be on BB.

They missed a good opportunity. I do think that Tyler was seeing in general who would be put up but then again, he’s smart with his words so maybe he was planting a seed to specifically put Angela up in the event he was told to use veto.

Anyways, I think I would react like Bayleigh to an extent. It’s all about her and bla bla, but Tyler has been telling everyone what they want to hear since the beginning and it did catch up with him. Angela has to know there’s some truth to it based on Bayleigh freaking out even more than usual, and I’m sure all the other houseguests are thinking this can be leverage to get him out in the future (ie. it will have to be done via backdoor or at least in some sneaky way).

I’m kinda thinking now the house might really consider keeping Bayleigh, at least everyone besides Tyler, Kaycee, and maybe Brett? She can still use her power next week, but if she puts Tyler up on her power app, his can get him right down, correct? Anyways, the floaters might want to consider keeping her and having her nominate two from the ‘other side’ either next week or whenever they don’t win the HOH. It really could shake things up.

But I think Bayleigh probably did too much damage at this point. Still would be a good twist in the plans.

ETA- I really don’t like Angela. She’s a nasty person and I know America likes her but she thinks she knows everything and she’s been pretty wrong about all of it so far.

JC can't stand Bayleigh (he was especially put off by her histrionics today), so he's voting her out. Sam votes however Tyler tells her too, so she'll vote Bayleigh out too. I think they have Scottie now too because he was pissed about Bayleigh making him swear on a bible when she was HOH. And he knows she wanted him on the block this week.

ETA: It's not surprising that Bay and Angela hit it off from the beginning because they are both trolls.

Sam seems torn on who to vote for out of pity for Bayleigh. JC is apparently going to tell Fessi right before the vote that he’s voting Bayleigh out, but I have suspicion that he will follow through.

It might actually be close tonight. Hayleigh seems set on removing Tyler’s vote so that side needs 4 to keep Bayleigh.

100% fake.
He only did that so he could rally his allies. He's very crafty. He's there to win, not to be AFP.

I think even the craftiest person can have a breakdown in the house. He said no one had ever screamed at him like that, and I believe it since that was some Grade A off-her-rocker screaming.

So satisfied with the HOH competition and I think Haleigh is now my favorite in the game. She sees right through Tyler and I know that America must be furious that she's going after him/understands that he's been playing the middle the whole time, but I feel like he's gotten a lot of help so far in the game and I'm still questioning why CBS chose him to be on that Knock Out show before taping of BB even started-- it's like they already anointed him the chosen one before the season began. I love his gameplay, but I equally love that Haleigh is now going to do her best to try and get him out of the game. I don't like how he reacted to being caught in his own lies, though.

I read that Sam tried to go to the diary room last night and leave the game because she didn't want to vote anyone out. Apparently when the producers told her they really want her to stay, she said she was just not going to vote when it came time for the live voting. Obviously she did vote, but her rating has absolutely tanked in the last 12 hours. She just doesn't want to play the game anymore.

Haleigh is making her nominations now, which are expected to be Kaycee and Angela. She's going to tell Kaycee that she's only a pawn, but I would just keep my mouth shut. Haleigh wants to either have someone on her side win the hacker competition or backdoor Tyler once again with the POV. I'm not so sure that she has the votes to get him out either way, but keeping two of their 'side' on the block will help the cause. Actually, if one of them wins the hacker comp, puts him up, and removes a vote, they would need at least 3 votes to get him out. Rockstar and Fessi are sure bets, and I'm guessing they could get a 3rd. Will be exciting to see how it plays out.

ETA- the audience cheers when it was Haleigh vs. JC in the final round of HOH was beautiful. I wonder if L6 now thinks they are the hated group of the season.

Reading more into Tyler's power-- it's stronger than I realized. The only way that he can really be backdoored is if someone on FOUTTE wins the Hacker and puts him up. If one of them wins the Veto, he already suspects that he's going up, so he can pull his app and stay off the block even during a veto ceremony. There even seems to be some question if he can use it before the Hacker ceremony, but I would hope not.

If Tyler goes this week, I actually do expect a battle back between the first four or so jury members. They are already running with an extra week because of Kaitlyn's blunder and I know they aren't going to skip a double eviction week. Those ones are always the most anticipated.

Tyler was a finalist for BBOTT, so I think that's how they found him for the TKO show. From there it sounds like he got cast for BB20. He's been applying since he became age eligible.

I want to like Haleigh, but she just bugs me. It's mostly petty stuff like her constant nail biting and the way she acts so fake sometimes, but she also lost points with me for taking up Bayleigh's battle and acting like people really did "treat her like trash." Never happened. The only way she could make me like her this week is if she finally goes off on Fessy for his smothering, jealous behavior. I think she's close to it after he refused to leave her HOH room last night.

Sam is unstable and I genuinely worry about the other HGs even though they only have plastic knives. Sam is so crafty that she could fashion her own weapon.

Sam will be like MacGievor (sp). They will find a way to keep Tyler. He has been in the top 3 since day one. They will find a way to keep Brett. he makes good tv

Those following the feeds closely-- what are the odds that a miracle is pulled off and Kaycee is voted out? From what I have read yesterday versus today, it seems like Sam might actually be considering voting Kaycee out even though yesterday she pinky promised to vote Rockstar out. It also seems like Scotty is considering going back to Haleigh/Faysal's side but who knows with him.

In any event, Faysal's vote is most likely getting canceled. Tyler, Brett, and Angela are surely keeping Kaycee. JC isn't talking about his vote but he seems to be figuring out what side would have the numbers and probably seeing if he can flip his vote (either way) and pin it on someone else. However, with the core L4 being so tight and JC actually seeing it (while Haleigh, Faysal, and Rockstar STILL don't and now actually think Brett is voting with them ), I don't think he's going to risk going against them.

So three votes for Rockstar to stay seem very, very unlikely but there are still three days of scheming left.

And apparently Sam was in the diary room again saying she wants to quit the game. I don't know why the producers keep asking her to fight through it and stay. She obviously isn't going to make it the whole summer.

ETA- was there an announcement or hint of a battle back between the first few jury members? I noticed on Jokers Updates that Bayleigh's photo, which was black and white for the last few days, is now back to color. :sekret:

I'm not following the feeds that closely so I'm not sure if I'm reading things right but I don't see it flipping to save Rockstar but I guess you never know, it is 3 days away the vote. And I feel bad for all the people that apply and want to play the game that some recruit like Sam is always threatening to walk out.

I know this will never happen, but I want Angela to take Scottie aside and give him a makeover as there is a very fine line between being a dork and adorkable and he is soooooo close to adorkable. A few tips from Angela could push him over the edge!

Oh I saw on social media that Winston, Rachel and whats her name, the life coach are getting together in LA and setting up house to pursue opportunities. I think they want to start a podcast! Like the world needs another podcast but whatever.

Scottie has amazing facial bone structure. When he has his glasses off you can really see it. If Haleigh had any sense, she'd ditch the big creep Fessy and take Scottie out of the friend zone. They have so much more in common and talk for hours about non-game stuff.

I am totally shipping Winston and Rachel after all their cute interactions over the weekend during the charity event they attended. I don't listen to many podcasts, but I might check this one out.

I don't think Sam will vote out Kaycee, and I am loving that there may be yet another blindside coming Thursday because The Hive thinks they have the votes for Rockstar. Scottie may be her only vote since Fessy's will be cancelled, and RS will probably think Sam is the only one who voted for her. Brett's "Operation Lone Wolf" has been a smashing success, which is hilarious. I can't believe The Hive actually believes Brett would keep Rockstar. But I guess these are the same people who think Kaycee is also all alone even though she hangs out with Angela and Tyler all day and they are clearly in an alliance. Scottie is the only one who mentioned that could be a possibility, and the other fools said he's giving them too much credit.

A lot of discussions now-- the other side is so convinced Brett is with them and now L4 expect the vote to be 5-1 to send Rockstar out. They think Scotty will be the only one to vote to keep Rockstar, and Brett is going to play nice until tomorrow night to make it seem like he is 100% voting Kaycee out. Scotty isn't the best at explaining himself or making himself sound genuine, so I doubt he's going to be able to convince Haleigh of anything if it goes down as planned. And then L4 has another member for a while because I'm sure Haleigh and Faysal will go off on him.

As annoying as this season may turn into if L4 keeps getting their way, there's no doubting that all of them are really playing their parts so well. If Brett wouldn't constantly talk like he's still a college frat boy, I'd like him more but his scheming is hilarious.

Next week may very well be a double eviction week. It always seems to happen around this time. With 9 people left and I really don't see anyone in L4 turning (at least until there are 5 left), Haleigh, Faysal, JC, Sam, and Scotty are going to need to have the lightbulb go on and find a way to work together, and Faysal in particular REALLY needs to win HOH.

If Sam (who I have doubts about making it all the way through anyways) or JC can get to that final 5 and really make a move with two of the four left (to guarantee top 3 and a shot at the finals), they may be sitting pretty. The jury is going to be a very bitter one this year.

And leave it to the 'misfits' to have 3 members of the 4 people left in the POV and still lose it. And BECAUSE of Rockstar.

I agree with you here. I can't stand the 4 but I can't begrudge their game. The only thing I'm wondering is if Brett would ever think of cutting Tyler before final 4. He has to see that the rest of his alliance as well as Sam and JC are closer to Tyler than they are to him. He had to notice how they reacted to Tyler being on the block. But I don't know if he'll just be content with going to final four with them and battle it out or if he will try to take a shot. I also wonder about Tyler's end game. I'm sure he wants Kaycee there at the end, but would he also like to have a Sam around too vs. Angela and Brett? Time will tell I guess. Wake me up when that happens cause these next few weeks feel like it might be a steamroll for a while.

Since Brett is playing the middle so well, he’s going to have a lot of the info he needs to make a wise move at the right time. That is, if he can explain his vote this week. Now I am reading that he thinks pinning the vote on Scotty is a bad idea and knows Haleigh will know the truth. So he’s going to have to explain himself but Faysal is the only one he really needs to be worried about in the next HOH.

The HOH and veto are so vital at 5 and 4 people left in the game, so I suspect if there are at least three of the four L4 left at 6 with three others, that’s when he should try and make his move.

I’m not going to get excited yet because leave it to Faysal and co to make an unwise move, but the only hope L4 should have at this point is two of L4 being put up initially, a third winning veto and using it on one of them, and Tyler using his cloud app in the final week of eligibility. Then one of the middle group goes up and risks going home a la the voting this week.

But at least this is going to hopefully switch up the direction of the season.

Fessy as HOH is my worst nightmare, but since he's already throwing out idiotic ideas like nominating Sam or Scottie, I have hope L6 could possibly make it through unscathed. I really want to see Tyler use his Cloud App since the other two powers were a bust, and this one would actually shock people since he's kept it under wraps from everyone but Sam.

I will give up on supporting the underdogs if Faysal really thinks it’s necessary to go after Scotty- their one vote with them in the last eviction, and one who has been pretty honest with that side the entire time while everyone else tried to pin him to things he didn’t do.

I read that last night Haleigh and Faysal were planning to make a deal with Tyler to make sure that he doesn’t save Scotty in the event that he goes up. You’ve got to be kidding me.

Angela and Brett should be the obvious nominations. Maybe Haleigh will sober up and use her head to get Faysal either trick Tyler and put him up immediately, or at least make him feel safe and then get him at some point.

If Scotty or Sam goes home on this HOH, the season has written itself.

ETA- what was Brett thinking with that eviction video to Rockstar? He’s been sneaking around so well and really could’ve pulled off saying he was her vote, but he blew that up and now almost surely already has 2 votes against him if he does make the finals.
