There can't be many other skaters who have made their Grand Prix debut two years after earning a World medal.

I should know better than to believe interviewers.Liu was on the Grand Prix in 2021/2022, though.
Bucsis said "your Grand Prix debut in 2 years" which I understood to mean that this was her first GP in 2 seasons.I should know better than to believe interviewers.![]()
Even that should be 3* years, no? But sounds like that was the intentionBucsis said "your Grand Prix debut in 2 years" which I understood to mean that this was her first GP in 2 seasons.
Based on new photos it’s clear she has some sort of piercing in her gum, not tooth gems.I've had more than one temporary crown fall off that was glued into place with dental glue. There is no guarantee at all that something attached to your teeth with glue is going to stay there.

Last tweet in the thread states she's deferred school for this year.
Technically its the bit of connective tissue between her gums and her upper lip.I keep re-watching her short program…. it’s brilliant. I did not notice this before in this photo does she have her gums pierced? I am clinging to the edge of my chair if that is true… Oh my gosh was it painful

No dentist needed, the photos clearly show that it's a piercing. I guess Rippon is to blame for this other atrocity that was first speculated? As a dentist I can say that it looks more like a piercing….maybe through the frenum, a small piece of tissue that connects the lip to the gums. Ouch is all I can say, and piercing can cause much more damage than tooth gems.
OW!OMG!
