Even though I'm no fan of Grassl, catty remarks aside, he did earn his spot. Memola is injured and even when not injured is iffy at best. One bad free skate doesn't negate all the good skates he's had throughout the season. It does however prove what we all know--Rizzo is the superior Italian skater. .

Well the Italian drama that wasn't. Good for Rizzo to earn his spot. Grassel was devastated. Hope he can refocus over the next couple of weeks. He's still Italy's best chance for a bronze medal. Slim chance maybe, but who knows.
