It's hard to say anything about Deniss' program. What he did, he did well except for the popped loop. But, the content is so watered down. I guess it's better to do what you can and do it well than fall all over the ice. So, good for him.

Deniss isn't exactly young and doesn't have reliable funding. I'm guessing this might be his last season too, but who knows?

I'm not one for all the drama off the ice but Reshtenko had plenty to say about not qualifying to the Olympics and specifically stated he was better than 5th-place finisher Yu-Hsiang Li. There's almost no choreography in his skating, regardless of the quads.

Kyrylo just has the look of "someone take my leadership chair...please." Reshtenko might do him that favor, though I hope it's not for long. I'm still eye-rolling from his Oly qualifier comments.

LOL, even a Level 1 on that spin feels a bit generous. But great effort on the jumps in this program.

Brezina's heir apparent is upholding the fine tradition of Czech skaters. Don't get attached or they will break your heart. All in the same program no less.

Giorgi ran out of steam, but wow, the technique is lovely.
I don't know why he has Solya in the K&C, as this program obviuosly didn't have any choreography.

At least Memola was happy to be there and happy with how he skated. Not every skater can say that.

I missed his skate just now because of a Zoom meeting (will catch him later on), but I read his GoldenSkate interview after the short, and he seems to be in a really good headspace. I'm sure he'll be very unhappy to miss the Olympics, but at the same time, he seems to feel that considering the injury, he's just lucky to be skating right now at all, and he appreciates it.

Reshtenko looked so unfazed during the program, but after, he’s letting the emotions out. Nice quads. Work to do on spins. A real talent!

Pretty solid jumping there for a Michal pupil... Now if he can teach him a little of his charisma it would do wonders, because without the jumps everything else is pretty meh.
