ANL in the house kitty cats. For the first time I can watch a competition over there during regular business hours here in Germany. Lol suck it @Karen-W
Well, my plan for at least 5 hours of sleep between the time I got home from work & this comp started was shot to hell by the EfiMit news out of Boston, so I'm running on about 2 hours of sleep and will be happy to get back to sleep once the RD is over and wake up in time for the Pairs SP about 4.5 hours later. I'll manage - besides, next week SCI is being held at a perfectly normal time of the day for those of us in North America.

Shiyue Wang's dress is in no way like ANYTHING I remember from the '90s, though I'm guessing since they're skating to a Chinese song, it may have been fashionable & trendy in China during that decade.

Also, anyone else find it suspicious that there is no TES tracker on the screen for Wang/Liu after the last ISU event held in China?

Wang/Liu - I don't remember that kind of dress from the '90s but maybe it has something to do with the music. I know I saw this program when I was watching Chinese Nebelhorn but I hve no real recollection. They seemed into it anyway....but sloooow.

Shiyue Wang/Xinyu Liu 🇨🇳
Coach: P. Lauzon, P. Haguenauer, G. Huang
Music: Go Wild Alone, Flower Guardian

Sequential Twizzles W:B M:2
Midline Step Sequence W:1 M:2
Pattern Dance Type Step Sequence 2
Choreo Rhythm Sequence

Rotational Lift 4

So we seem to be missing the technical tracker to start the event. Wang/Liu seemed pretty slow, and cautious through most of their elements.

62.68 = 1st Place

I really don't understand why the Chinese Federation is so willing to go all in on Wang/Liu still. Their skills have regressed so much, and were regressing even before we found out he's a creep. They're so slow and not living up to this music, which is pretty fun, at all.

LOL - Chris commenting on the wobbly bladework during her twizzles as we get a close-up slo-mo look in the replays is great.

HAHAHAHA! And now the TES tracker miraculously appears. Oh, we see you, ISU!
