I'm trying to figure out what is so weird about Ziegler's jump technique, and I think there's a few things. She doesn't reach back on her pick assisted jumps. Hard to get good lift that way. Kind of the same issue on the sal and axel in that she doesn't really swing through to get any lift and just kind of depends on one leg to get her up.

Yeah, in the pick jumps there`sno pick. Opposite of a mule kick.

Definitely new. I'm not sure if it's because I'm tired and ready for a nap, but I nearly nodded off during the program, lol.

Given I was skating that with Nastia, I now have a justification for the scrape on my knee. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
