First look at Kucianova/Bidar - 2tw to open but plenty of room to make it a 3, SBS were doubles I think?, hands down on the throw, good lift. SBS spins started off nice but got out of synch. Overall, they look nice together, but nothing exciting.

I've always wondered why Bidar hasn't tried to recruit Eliska Brezinova as a partner--or maybe he has and she wasn't interested. Her jump technique is more than good enough for pairs.

Hocke/Kunkel - really strong start! That throw was so high it was certainly going to be impossible for her to control the landing, so a hand down isn't bad. The SBS spins were excellent!

Thanks - I glanced away during their jumps, so I wasn't sure if they were 3t or 2t. The twist is really high and light - more than enough air to add a 3rd revolution.

That doesn't seem to be an issue for him. His current partner is nearly as tall as he is. But, at the rate he goes through partners, he'll probably get around to Eliska at some point.

Piegad/Strekalin - 3tw was gorgeous! Step out for her on the SBS jumps and a hand down on the throw, but they seem to be gelling as a team. @Frau Muller would love their music, lol.

DanTsi kept their SP from last season. Fast 3tw, and he's down on the SBS jumps, beautiful 3 throw! Pretty decent season debut apart from the fall.

I worry because he had his head down for quite a while now to duct tape it togehter - it always takes me a minute or two to recover from that when I have to retie my skates....

GhiAmbr - hand down for her on the SBS jump once they restart, but that's going to be a big deduction for the stoppage. Nice throw. And, WTF is this music change for the step sequence? Some techno version of a perfectly great piece of music. This is shite and ruins what could be a great program!!!!!

Ghilardi/Ambrosini - They already look better than last season. Really going for it, even after the interruption. I wouldn’t be that confident about being lifted by a guy who’s just done an emergency tape job on his boot. Not sure about the last part of the music with the electric guitar.
