I am so glad Piper and Paul are staying. The Canadian team needs their experience.
Yes, it's great that Piper & Paul are staying. I had a feeling they would. When they were interviewed on CBC after Worlds by Scott Russell they said they were keeping their options open. It makes sense that they are keeping open the possibility of skating until 2024 Worlds in Canada. :)

Cross-posting here from the JGP general thread :):
I am excited to see Dana Sabatini-Speciale / Nicholas Buelow compete in Armenia for Junior Dance. Last season they did really well - 3rd at Skate Canada Novice Challenge and 2nd at Skate Canada Novice Nationals. They competed at the NextGen Competition for their first time Junior in July and came 5th out of the 16 teams -- scored a total of 136.92 . I live streamed it and they were really good! They also just competed in another Ontario comp and came 1st with a total of 147.85 . Dana has a youtube channel with their performances from 2021/22 Nationals and videos from this year's Junior competitions so far, for anyone that wants to check them out! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC8Xo_GEWvqZcY5Ys00GKZ7g/featured

It will be nice to see Canada's top junior team Nadiia Bashynska / Peter Beaumont travel and compete with one of Canada's top new junior teams! I guess Skate Canada is using Bashynska / Beaumont as mentors for Sabatini-Speciale / Buelow -- I think that's a good idea!

I think I saw a social media page for Sabatini-Speciale / Buelow, but I have to find it again, so I'll post when I do.
Dana Sabatini-Speciale & Nicholas Buelow have a team account on Instagram (their individual Instagram accounts are linked in the profile page): https://www.instagram.com/dana__nicholas/

ETA - thanks, @icedancefan!!:
I was able to find social media accounts for Canadian Junior ice dancers Dana Sabatini-Speciale / Nicholas Buelow.

I forgot to mention that this team trains at Mariposa School of Skating with former ice dance Olympian Mitch Islam (partner Alexandra Paul). Dana represents Toronto Cricket Skating and Curling Club and Nicholas represents Barrie SC.

Lori Ewing article about "Coach" Scott Moir :) :https://www.cbc.ca/sports/olympics/...-following-footsteps-former-coaches-1.6569597
Moir hadn't considered coaching as a career, but he was so sold on the philosophy instilled by Dubreuil and Lauzon at the Ice Academy of Montreal (I.AM), he became the head of their satellite program in London, Ont.

"My time in Montreal changed . . . well, it changed my life. I know Tess feels the same way," Moir said. "I fell back in love with the sport again."

Canadian ice dance team Sandrine Gauthier & Quentin Thieren practice their 2022-2023 Junior Free Dance to "Any Other World" and "Sound of an Orchestra" by @MIKA. They train under the Ice Academy of Montreal. Music mixing by Hugo Chouinard. Filmed in August 2022 by Jordan Cowan...
Wishing G/T, currently in 1st place in Riga, well for tomorrow's FD!
