2021 US Nationals Mens FS: When you fall in a forest of cardboard people, do you make a sound?

That was great after the first jump. But if he was upset with himself after the short, he's going to be absolutely livid now!
You can't always be perfect plus this is only his 2nd event of the season usually by Nationals he's hitting his stride but like most skaters he's hasn't had a chance to compete. Still he made only one mistake and went clean afterwards.

It's going to be very interesting to see how Vincent does next season. Right now, he's putting himself into position as a contender for Olympic bronze.

Vincent a lot of attack, but severely lacking the detailed presentation he showed in the SP. The opening 4z/3t was :respec: worthy though.

I would assume he isn’t a US citizen? So that’s a really bold pick
Whoops.

Poor Vincent. If he was skating for any other country (other than Japan) and in any other generation, he’d be the star of their fed but he’s competing in the era of Chen. He really is improving and people shouldn’t sleep on what he’s capable of doing. It’s just Chen is a once in a generation talent.

I'm beginning to feel about Muse like I feel about anything from Moulin Rouge. And I am so fecking tired of Moulin Rouge. Hell is a cold, terrible restaurant that plays Moulin Rouge all the time.

I don't think this program works as well as his short, but it still shows a lot of growth for Vincent.
Exactly how I feel.

The SP is fantastic and the standout program for me, but I still think this program marks a big step forward. A better performance and more training time and this will be good to go by a hypothetical Worlds.

Too bad he didn't draw after Paniot today, though.

Am I thinking of Pavlov? Wasn't there some Ukrainian male skater that had a weird falling out with the Federation? This is bugging me now.
Check this GSD thread later: https://www.fsuniverse.net/forum/threads/ukrainian-skaters-migration-to-other-countries.107351/

Chen's scores via Jackie Wong: TES 114.36, PCS 94.00, FS 208.36, TOTAL 322.28 into 1st

Vincent's jumps: 4Lz(arms overhead)+3T, 1F big pop, 4S, 3A, 4Lz<? fall, 3A+2T, 3Lz-half loop-3S

Jackie's tweeted scores: TES 94.99, PCS 89.60, -1.00, FS 183.59, TOTAL 291.38 into 2nd

If Paniot keeps skating cleanly and gets even more consistent quads, I predict he’ll make the Olympic team next year. I’m not kidding. It’s my no guts, no glory pick, but I can see it happening. Skating skills be damned. Even Johnny was won over, Lmao.
Does he have US citizenship? :)

Ahem, two quads.

It was only one when I posted that. He overachieved in following his idol.

Nathan's program is great and I would not hate it if he kept it for next year. Vincent's program is trash. He should burn it. He's probably popping and falling on his quads in protest of skating to this terrible program.

Isn't Slaughter on 10th Avenue one of those music choices that's supposed to be a jinx?

I would like to know what will Terry answer if you ask him: if a skater falls 3 times in a program, how many mandatory deductions you have to take? ONE is not the answer :P
