Followed by burning them all at the end!Maybe a gala program where he wears all the Vera Wang shirts, and slowly takes one off after completing each jump.
This.Nathan Chen should be way more famous in the US than he actually is for what he’s doing athletically.
I have a young, black guy as a co-worker who knows nothing about skating but he's actually heard of Nathan Chen, so he's not entirely unknown, but yes, he should be far more famous in the US than he is.Nathan Chen should be way more famous in the US than he actually is for what he’s doing athletically.
Yes. He should be a household name just as much as Simone Biles.Nathan Chen should be way more famous in the US than he actually is for what he’s doing athletically.
The first three beats of this always trick me, excitedly, into thinking someone is skating to Nine Inch Nails’ Closer.
Spontaneous combustion.Followed by burning them all at the end!
If Paniot keeps skating cleanly and gets even more consistent quads, I predict he’ll make the Olympic team next year. I’m not kidding. It’s my no guts, no glory pick, but I can see it happening. Skating skills be damned. Even Johnny was won over, Lmao.
There's that, but then there's the actual Federation - didn't they basically torpedo their best Junior Pairs team because the skaters wanted to be coached by his mom, and the Federation wouldn't allow it. There is a reason that the top Ukrainian skaters all skate for other nations over the past couple decades.

Control of the skaters being more important than the results, apparently.Yes, the pair team that had Ivan Pavlov in it (too lazy to look up the partner name). He looked into moving to another country, but he must have retired because he calls himself a coach on his social media accounts. I don't know what happened with the partner. They weren't a hugely successful pair, but Pavlov really worked and bulked up when he switched to pairs and I thought he had a lot of potential. It's a shame that the UKR skaters have no support whatsover, but the ones that do leave have good basics and can find success elsewhere. You'd think the UKR Fed would look at skaters like Savchenko and Volosozhar and realize if they kept/supported their people, all those golds could be theirs. But nope, guess not![]()
Ahem, two quads.Picture Mean Girls: "I heard Nathan Chen fecked up a quad, so I fecked up a quad too!"
