Seemed a bit cautious compared to earlier outings, but that might have been the wack camera angles.
I know people complain about his expression, but he expresses the music so well in his body. It is definitely bizarre that it doesn't reach his face, but the dude just has Resting (and Active) Bored Face

I don't know if Ilia has changed the opening choreography or I have just not paid attention (v possible), but those were some nice moves.

I hate this song, but Ilia clearly loves it, and this was an excellent performance of it

Malinin: Getting better flow out of his jumps that he has in a long while. Much better today than at the GPF. Even the ina bauer wasn't as half hearted as he usually does it.

Easily my favorite program Ilia has ever done. His PCS is still too high, but he's working on it and he's working on different styles in his gala programs. The commitment- he obviously likes the program rather than someone else having picked it out for him. Makes all the difference.

The little nuances out of the jumps are choreographically smart, because he continues to have very little running edge. The whole program is choreographed smart IMO and the focus doesn't go to the long prep for all the big jumps.

Lutz looked tight, and the panel won't review it.

The insanity of the GOE that Ilia gets on the quads. Until someone else does it, he really is in that class by himself. His overall presentation is getting better. You gotta wonder what he’ll do next.
