I used to think that, too, but no, you don’t have to have citizenship to represent a country in singles in non-Olympic international competition. Von Felton has already competed for the U.S. on the JGP. See Krasnozhon for a recent example of a non-citizen who represented the U.S. at junior worlds.Does von Felton have U.S. citizenship? And if not, then isn't she ineligible? I thought for single you have to be a citizen of the country you're representing (whereas for pairs and dance it's ok if one member of the team is not a citizen as long as the other is).
IMO the junior worlds team should be Sarah & Sophie.
