I agree with most of it but I think Chan/Howe are done...flip 1st and 2nd alt for Worlds.Okay my guesses:
Worlds:
Efimova and Mitrofinov
Kam and O'Shea
1st alt: Chan and Howe
2nd alt: McBeath and Parkman
4CC:
Efimova and Mitrofinov
Kam and O'Shea
McBeath and Parkman
1st alt: Chan and Howe
I'm taking the bold guess that the fcukery will be with the worlds 1st alt spot. Just to spice it up.
That's my prediction.I agree with most of it but I think Chan/Howe are done...flip 1st and 2nd alt for Worlds.
They threw that cushion on the ice!Not to say that there isn't pressure to defend, but K/O do have an 8 point cushion from the SP.
Isn’t the international committee elected? They can be voted out like politicians who don’t represent their constituentsBody of work gives USFSA almost unlimited power. I am confident they will go, but body of work is a vibe, not a formula.
Their music just makes me laugh. The Je Suis Malade Choir!Alisa & Misha were wonderful though I HATE THEIR MUSIC SO MUCH.

According to Wikipedia Efimova is a polyglot and she's learned the languages of the countries she's represented, which is something I doubt Reed has accomplished. But I'm pretty sure Reed still has a bigger passport collection so far.The Allison Reed of Pairs.

They do. Emily and Spencer received them. Check #3 in the list - it cites the pewter medal. So, the pewter medalists don't get the radix pins?
Better the U.S. than Azerbaijan, which is what I was thinking. Not that I'd want the other pairs to break up, but imagining Efimova & Parkman pairing up and skating for the US would be hella funny.

Oh yeah, I was there. It was an epic discussion going through the hallway back to the Hilton Garden InnAnd people kept insisting that the "tie" was a conspiracy against Johnny.
As I tried to say that, if they wanted to cook the books, it really would have been a lot easier to have Evan win outright rather than tie. A tie would be very hard to achieve intentionally.
Probably! I suspect she speaks Russian and Finnish natively and the rest came through school and travel. AFAIK German and English are widely taught in Finland. Her accent in English isn't entirely Russian so I assume she began learning it in Finland.I would assume she learned Finnish and Russian as a child and then added more on?
And unfortunately both of her daughters look like their fathers.![]()
No, it's definitely not a bad thing, they are both beautiful. We were joking that since people keep saying that Efimova looks like Gordeeva that she could use Gordeeva's US passport to go to the Olympics but she probably couldn't pass for 53. What I was trying to imply (and did a poor job of) was that Gordeeva has two daughters who are in the same age range as Efimova, but unfortunately they look nothing like Katia/Efimova and very much like their dads. And that's a bad thing??? Both such handsome men.
She also speaks some mandatory Swedish, German and English.I would assume she learned Finnish and Russian as a child and then added more on?
Reed never had the Israeli passport/citizenship. So no, Efimova beats her.According to Wikipedia Efimova is a polyglot and she's learned the languages of the countries she's represented, which is something I doubt Reed has accomplished. But I'm pretty sure Reed still has a bigger passport collection so far.
I’m so happy for Efimova!
I have a couple of questions:
What happened/how bad was the fall on the lift for poor K/O?![]()
