Danil must be growing. The 3A has plagued him all season. But, the rest of his skating is :swoon:

I love how Team Tutberidze brought back the wind sound FX as a transition. Never forget Zagitova's broken glass Phantom!

I have no interest in watching skaters who are and/or look like they are under ten.

I keep waiting for someone to utilize Leonova's record scratching transition. :drama:

I agree with you, especially for senior events, but don't have an issue with it at an event like Youth Olympics.

For me, this program for Samsonov is brilliant, so many interesting transitions, but they're all musical and important.
I don't disagree or really have an option about it, but I'm honestly curious if you think it's creepy that he looks like he's nine or if he has a chance at a viable senior career (assuming he goes through puberty before 2025).

I realize I probably sound bitchy and negative.

I love this SP so much for Mozalev.
Suits his style so much. He is so damn into it.
Love the flow. So intense.

The first time I saw him on the JGP, where of course other skaters look just as young, I was struck by the vast disconnect between his size/appearance and his skillset. I did find it unsettling, but I guess I'm just getting used to it.

Let's just say I wouldn't bet reducing the ladies minimums back to 29/49 that he will have a viable senior career. :p

Kostornaia looked older than him when she was 14, but she was at least as good.

I don't follow the JGP that closely, so I'll take your work that other skaters look as young as him. Trusova certainly does.

They said that the ban wouldn't apply to events where it was too late to change anything.
Not true, Russia can compete as Russia until the CAS decide on the case. They have appealed the case and the hearing hasn’t started.

Even before the appeal, they said that.
I corrected the statement that stated that reason Russians were allowed was because it was too late to change anything, which is plain wrong. The reason they are allowed are because they appealed to the CAS. If Russia didn’t appeal they would have to compete as the Olympic athletes from Russia or somethings

BTW, Chris Howarth again mentioned that Ilia Malinin (USA) withdrew due to illness but Ilia posted an Instagram story recently that he injured his back the day before he was supposed to fly and that's why he decided not to compete here - here's hoping he will be fine for Nationals!
