2017 IAAF World Championships (Real) London

That was an epic race, I was holding my breath for the last lap, Mo was incredible! What mental and physical capacities, that guy has, just awesome! He really was challenged tonight, and had to find something superhuman to win that race! :respec::cheer2:

Poor KJT she proves one more time that pressure takes the best out of her, it will be very difficult for her to make the podium

This is Nafissatou Thiam event to lose, the girl looks so strong and poised for the gold. Yorgelis Rodriguez from Cuba improving 3 times her PB in the high jump! she could be a new star in the making

KJT has to work on her nerves - the High Jump should have had her up in the top 3 on the leader board. Now she has a throwing event where she will just see Thiam especially pulling away from her. Not sure how Rodriguez is in the throwing events I don't see how KJT can get on the podium unfortunately (hopefully I will be proved wrong tomorrow).

Fabulous run from Reece Prescod from GB to get 2nd in his semi. Start a little slow but once he wound up he strode to 2nd place!!

And now for Bolt. Come on Usain!!

Bolt and Coleman exchanging a look on the line - Bolt certainly slowed at the end - not sure if Coleman did. It is going to be between those 2 for the gold!!

I have a really good feeling about Christian Coleman in the 100m final.....not sure if he will win but I hope that he beats Gatlin.

Shocked that Ujah (GBR) didn't make the final - just got edged out by Su (China).

What a run it will be between Bolt and Coleman! And now fir the discus and the sexy bald big men! Go Kanter, go Harting!

These women's 1500m semifinals should be insane to watch. Wouldn't be surprised if Jenny Simpson ends up being the only American in the final.

Still shocked that Jeff Henderson didn't make the men's long jump final. But I think Jarrion Lawson has a good chance to medal.

The women's 1500m is a loaded event - there are probably about 8 women who could get on the podium - if not more. The depth in women's middle distance running at the moment is insane.

Scary moment for a few minutes after Bolt's semi when his name didn't originally appear on the results board in the stadium.

The Long Jump is looking to be a tight competition.

And Ayana is demolishing the field in the 10000m - she is lapping people left right and centre and leading by over 200m:eek:

Phenomenal from Ayana  She looks like she weighs all of 4lbs but wow she is strong!! :respec:

Loving the insights from Jess Ennis-Hill's coach Toni Minichiello on BBC. Learning lots about technique in the field events especially.

Finally a smile from KJT - a good run in the 200m from her to finish her day - but how that High Jump is going to cost her in this competition.

Manyonga won the Long Jump - and enjoyed how he celebrated with a sand angel :D

Mason Finley (USA) hold on to the bronze medal position, last time an american made the podium at worlds: 1997 with a surprising gold medal, Mason threw a 68.03 metres for a second PB in the final

Lithuania got the gold medal with Andrius Gudzius who is following the steps of Virgilijus Alekna

Daniel Stahl missed the title but still got the Silver

Men's Long Jump, Jarrion Lawson had a wonderful contest, went for it in the final round with 8.44!!! but not enough, 4cm shy of the gold that went to favourite Luvo Manyonga (RSA) who didn't have a consistent final but did have the longest jump at 8.48

I am very surprised for the consistency of Lawson, his six jumps were very good but not enough this time

I hope the crowd boo Gatlin extremely loudly during the entire medal ceremony. To the point it upsets him and ruins any joy whatsoever for him. And boo loudly during the playing of his anthem to rub it in.
