There are at least 5 possible contenders for the Japanese Olympic ladies team (and they only have 2 spots, I believe): Satoko Miyahara, Marin Honda, Mai Mihara, Wakaba Higuchi, and Kaori Sakamoto.

Ah yes! I'd forgotten about Mai Mihara (How could I? I just recently saw her in 2 photos with Nathan Chen, where fans were 'shipping' them ). Mai is definitely a dynamo. I saw her live at 2016 Skate America. I remember Wakaba from Juniors and her recent senior debut. I've seen Sakamoto once or twice in Juniors. Mai and Marin can put up a fierce battle, and Wakaba is a good jumper. However, when she's healthy, I think Satoko is rather magical, despite not having high, powerful jumps.

Agree very lovely! Full marks for the opening, Lori can finally make the Spartacus of her dreams. Lets hope she never leaves ice dance, I can already tell I'm going to love this a lot more than their FD from last year.

They look very light and fluid.

Yeah it could go either way really.
Some of the moves were kinda ridiculous.
But he certainly seems to have the personality to pull it off!
We will see.

Saw it live. Fell asleep. (Other than the two lifts on the crescendo) felt that Pechalat and Bourzat could be a good omen though.

It won't be hard for Lori to top that.

Why on earth has it taken so long for a top dance team to use Lori I wonder.

Maybe she wasn't comfortable chreographing with the arcane rules of ice dancing under the IJS. Has she ever choreographed for other ice dance teams? Whatever, it will be a step above anything Morozov would create. Let's just hope he doesn't change it too much during the season.

Why all that flack towards Morozov programs from people here?

I like most of his programs Aranjuez LP was the best program of Weaver / Poje in the last couple of years imo.
