2015 - 2016 TV Season

Outlander is back this Saturday, I believe at 9 pm. :cheer: SO excited for this new season, everything I've been reading about it suggests this second season should be a strong one. I'll have to figure out a way to get access to the episodes, as I still don't have the Starz channel, but I'm not too concerned lol.

I quite enjoyed the BBC production of And Then There Were None that CBC just aired. It was very slow and atmospheric at first, then picked up steam and got very creepy. Lots of familiar actors including Miranda Richardson, Charles Dance, and Sam Neill.

It made me want to re-read the book. And I'm not really an Agatha Christie fan.

I see that Lifetime was one of the production partners. Has it aired on that network yet?

Comic book fans are giddy with excitement right now because of a speculated crossover between Netflix's upcoming Luke Cage and Captain America: Civil War. Alfre Woodard who will star in Luke Cage also is listed to appear in Civil War. I personally hope the rumour is right because I think it would be so cool! This link contains SPOILERS!

It has aired on Lifetime, unfortunately with 4,000 commercials. It was impossible to appreciate on Lifetime; every time it got going and started to exert a hypnotic pull on me - bang, more commercials. I's love to see it on DVD, uncut and uninterrupted.

Aidan Turner is far more interesting in this than in that dreadful Poldark remake.

Technical Q: I just started watching The Americans on FX after catching up on all the previous seasons on Prime. What a jolt to be constantly interrupted with commercials. It felt like the actual show was 15 minutes shorter. Is that possible??

I think I may sit out the rest of the season until I can watch it on Prime.

Tonight's episode of Sleepy Hollow certainly felt like a goodbye episode. Some characters were waved goodbye too while others were simply absent altogether. The ending did leave open the possibility of more seasons so we shall see.

So is anyone still sticking with Quantico? Dumb questions but ... who is "The Asset"? I know his name is Will, I know that Simon and Alex know him from training, but I just don't remember him at all.

And even worse .... "The Voice" tells Alex to hand the phone to the driver of the car and my cable goes out! Was was the driver of the car!

I've been reading the recaps on Wikipedia instead of watching, and it says Shelby was driving the car. I didn't know who Will was either, but Wiki says he was a member of the class above Alex's and he became Caleb's roommate.

Not sure if I should post here or in the summer TV thread, but since it doesn't really concern the summer TV season... For those of you who like spoilers, here's a link with the synopsises for the season finales of the CBS shows. It also includes a brief synopsis for the first episode of Person of Interest (link should open up to POI) http://www.cbs.com/shows/2016-final...eason-5-premieres-on-tuesday-may-3-at-10-9c-/
