Chock & Bates [fan thread #2]: "All Paths Have Led to This Moment"

Madi/Evan performed their RD at 34:00 and "Once I Was Loved" at 1:06 in the Vail Ice Spectacular show video, linked here: https://www.fsuniverse.net/forum/th...ows-benefits-tours.112107/page-2#post-6707733
They also skated a short number to "Save the Last Dance for Me" in the opening headliners section to Michael Bublé songs.

USFS recently uploaded a short video from Skate America of Madi/Evan talking about her costume design process for their FD: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DinTkGDBQek

And I've been able to see 2 of the titles won live!

They are incredible, I've almost run out of superlatives to describe them. But beyond their skills and connection to each other and the music (which we longtime fans know hasn't come easy), they have developed nerves of steel. Defending a world title at home, even with a 3+ point lead after the RD, must be intense pressure, and they looked calm, controlled, and just having a great time dancing out there.

Looking forward to seeing what they come up with for next season!

I'm not sure if this was on the world feed or not, but Madison and Evan (unsurprisingly) showed a lot of class in their post-win K&C interview with Ben Agosto. Instead of talking about themselves or their performance, they reflected on the US medal-winning dance legacy created by Tanith & Ben and Meryl & Charlie. You could tell it meant a lot to Ben.

I saw it. I was immediately impressed by the humbleness. They have made their place in Ice Dance history and worthy followers of B/A and D/W in US Ice Dance especially.

It should be on the world feed (at least it is on the version that Peacock is showing). Here's a rough transcription.

Ben: Madison and Evan, you just made history as the first Americans to win three world titles. What are you feeling right now?
Madison: Absolutely elated. Performing in front of all of you for all of you was the greatest joy. Thank you so much.
Evan: Coming from Ben Agosto, it's something extra special. Tanith and Ben, Meryl and Charlie - the American teams who paved the way showed us what it meant to be champions. It means a lot coming from you and we love all of you guys. Thank you so much for coming out and supporting us. It means the world.
