I believe Charlie & Julieann may be out with injury but I do not have details.

Julianne and Charlie were apparently out of the world team event and CSOI because of an injury (no further details were released), but as far as I know, they are back in full training - Julianne recently posted some pictures and other info on her Instagram of them training, doing choreo for the new season with David Wilson and MF Dubreuil, etc.

Well Skate Canada updated the carded athlete list (those athletes getting funding from Sport Canada) and it seems Lubov is finally a carded athlete!

The side by side jumps is the reason they are not further along. They've gotta fix that shit or they'll be the little team that could forever. She's the gem in that team. It's almost satisfied my curiosity about what Sasha Cohen would look like as a pairs girl ( jumps and all ) .

I was thinking the same thing even as I was looking forward to watching their new SP today - and even more now having seen it.

I love the new SP! It definitely needs more outings, but it should be great later in the season, so much potential there!!

The SP looks promising!

The step sq & the pair spin with the cool entry were choreographical standouts to me. The lift looked kinda basic for them, though... But I understand if they just want to play it safe in the short & save their trademark fancy lifts with gorgeous air positions for the free.

LP - At this moment, a bluesy rock ballad by Billy Vera and the Beaters, choreo Wilson and Bezic.

I won't comment on the SP, I can't believe their skating to Phil Collins, blah BUT that FS will totally work. Love the song. Never heard it before, but it really fits them well. I'd rather they have a brilliant FS and a so-so SP (but I'll keep an open mind...) than viva versa, like T&M....
