It's good to see CFSA (or whoever it is supposed to be, can't keep up) investing in Beijing and Guangdong though. One of the issues stated on the previous thread was that there was no investment in provinces apart from Heilongjiang and Jilin. Now I see Cheng Jiaying is from Guangdong too, apart from all those Beijing girls. And Guangdong is weak in winter sports, so maybe that's changing...

Huh, guess it really happened. Saw murmurs about it on weibo a while back.

Plushenko to hold two ice shows in China in August.

So Chinese skaters don't seem to be there, but otoh, Trusova and Kodratyuk are, along with Plushenko.

Oh also, according to this, that I only just found out about, Beijing has been provisionally assigned as host of 2026 4cc.
