Starting this since the 50th Anniversary Evening with Champions cast has been announced and it's worth stopping by for anyone close to Boston. Show dates are April 9th and 10th.

Hubbell/Donohue and Green/Parsons for dance and Amber Glenn for ladies are some of the highlights.

Findlay, Ohio's first two ice shows are coming up. First is the Gliding Stars (aka special olympics) show at 2:30 this afternnoon with raffle prizes. It will be the first ice show for this club since 2019. No guest stars but I am glad the kids will be able to skate, and I will have a chance to win prizes (50/50 or one of 4 raffle baskets ( the one filled with cash would be really nice).

2nd show is the Findlay Silver Blades next weekend. I am going next Sunday. They did have a show last year with no guest skaters. This year they will have Pate/Bye and Pearl Rojas. Rojas is from the Bowling Green Skating club and on the national development team.

They’ll both be in the show…just not together! Audrey is listed with the solo women…so she’ll skate a solo? Misha will skate pairs with his new partner, Hazel Collier. A most unusual “friendly divorce-style” situation!

The Skating Club of Wilmington will be hosting a "Tribute Celebration to Luddy" on the weekend of May 20-22, 2022, delayed two years due to YNW and just after the second anniversary of his passing. I don't know the full details yet, but here are the highlights:

• Friday 5/20 evening: reception at the SC of Wilmington
• Saturday 5/21: 6-9 pm: ice show at SCW
• Sunday 5/22: 2-4 pm: golf at the Elks Club

@SaSherka and I were there for tonight's EWC show & Paul Wylie and Emily Hughes confirmed Audrey Lu is heading to UCLA this fall. She landed both a 3sal and 3loop in her solo, so definitely ending on a high note.
Videos of the always entertaining Green Parsons & Amber Glenn are now up. Amber said she's taking things day by day and didn't commit to definite future plans, but sounds like she'll try to stick around. G/P said they the 4CC win set them up well for the next 4 years .

After pivoting to pavement during the pandemic, Ice Theater of New York returns to its true milieu, which is also a fitting place to reflect on climate change. As part of its home season, the company will present the premiere of the choreographer Jody Sperling’s “Of Water and Ice,” which draws on her research in the Arctic and is set to music by D.J. Spooky. It will be joined on the program by 10 other works, many of them also new, with soundtracks ranging from Philip Glass to Rachmaninoff to Madonna. Don’t expect a string of Nathan Chen-like acrobatic feats, though; the company, founded in 1984, is rooted in the art of ice dancing, which combines the ethos of concert dance with the speed, momentum and strength of ice skating. Tracing Sacred Steps brings the healing practice of ring shout onto the ice and features an all-Black cast of four professional skating artists and actor/vocalist Thomasina Petrus. Brownbody presents professional artistic work every other year, making this an experience not to be missed!"

Tracing Sacred Steps brings the healing practice of ring shout onto the ice and features an all-Black cast of four professional skating artists and actor/vocalist Thomasina Petrus. Brownbody presents professional artistic work every other year, making this an experience not to be missed!"
